Save Shedeur

I’m not sure that many of you have accepted how bad this is. I would be happier to sit back and watch a rotation of Uncle Rico, Shane Falco, Jonathan Moxon, Ronnie Bass, and Paul Crewe play QB for the rest of the year vs watching Bryce take another snap. I’d trade for them too. It’s over, it’s fuging done. We are fuging done. There is no way to out clown show what we have today.

I think this season is sunk and it's still the Bryce show until they prove it isn’t. They have shown zero effort in anyone but Bryce unfortunately.

We are all going to have to wait this one out. Let's see what the options in the offseason look like. Maybe we get a couple of mercy Dalton games. Maybe we get a couple of sad Hooker games. That seems like the reality of this season.

I think you're going to strangle the fan base if you don't even attempt to win football games.

I know, we’ve talked about it already, but that was mostly before the start of the season, before Bryce came out and Bryce’d it up.  I get it.  The NFL as a collective doesn’t like guys like Deion and Shedeur.  They don’t like self-assured, confident young…  errr… men.  And okay, we get it.  They sent a message by dropping Shedeur to the 5th.  But throughout preseason and training camp, Dillon Gabriel did not look like a backup NFL QB, let alone a starter, and yet, Cleveland kept him above Shedeur on the depth chart.  Shedeur outperformed every QB on their roster by almost every measure and still sits 3rd in their depth chart.  Then today, they announce they have benched Joe Flacco, will start Gabriel, and leave Shedeur as the 3rd stringer.

It isn’t unprecedented.  Again, the Cowboys traded for Joe Milton after one season as a late round pick from the previous draft.  Considering the incompatibility of the fit for Shedeur and Cleveland and our, what should now be obvious to any and everyone involved, desperate need to add talent at the QB position…  why not do both sides a solid?

This is probably the most ridiculous post I have seen on this forum and I have been here a long time.  So fuggin bias and stupid

I was just thinking about this. We all laughed at him dropping so far when projected top 3 pick. I’ll admit it, I was in that crowd.

I also live in CO and watched some of his games (on TV, wasn’t driving up to Boulder for that circus), the kid made plays when it mattered and created things out of nothing. He had the state buzzing about that team for the first time in a long time.

He also showed flashes of immaturity that came from his lineage and looking back on it, seems like an organized effort to show the Sanders family who’s really in charge.

Media still takes jabs at him (looking at you Rex) for honestly no reason. All I see now is a kid trying to make the best of his situation. I don’t see or hear him complaining. I see him doing things like working out with high school kids since he’s on the PS, and putting in the work. I saw him play better in the preseason game against us than our #1 pick ever did.

I’ve had enough of the Bryce experience. It’s awful. In every possible way. He’s not the guy. I also can’t get the visual of him just stumbling on his own right into the ground last week when the DT we should’ve signed blew the line up and almost got him out of my head. Being a fan of this team right now creates trauma for everyone who tries to move forward with their fandom.

What are realistic options? Nothing exciting. Nothing that hasn’t already been a retread a few times over. I don’t see another Cam in the draft.

Go get Shadeur. fug it. He’s got the physical tools. He can push the ball downfield, our current high school kid QB cannot unless he launches it within 2 seconds to let the loft carry it. No zip whatsoever. Shadeur comes with some baggage, sure, but why not be the team that gives him his chance to prove all the haters wrong. We literally have nothing to lose since we more than likely lose everything else this year with the current setup.

If it works, we could flip the Franchise around for a 7th and DM looks like a genius. If it doesn’t? Who gives a poo. At least we’re acknowledging that Bryce isn’t it and maybe that instills some confidence back in the fans.

That was a response to Rex ryan blasting him on national TV for no reason and statements he couldn't back up.

Mission accomplished.

The worst part is this IS them trying to win their way. I would take half the huddle over anyone in that house currently and we would probably pick up a few more wins.
