If this defense shows up the rest of the year I’m not expecting playoffs but will be fun to watch games. Coker, Sanders,  and Hubbard hopefully will be back soon.  Just hope next week isn’t a home game for the Cowboys and CeeDee has a sore ankle still.

Rico was killing it today. A few rookies showed up and made plays. Brady is a damn good run blocker at RG. IMO Rico and the rookies on both sides of the ball stepping up made that comeback possible. Even XL decided he wanted to play football again. And lets not forget that Evero finally found his balls.

    • Saw somewhere that we're 9-4 this year with Kon, Miller and LaMelo in the lineup. 6-6 in our last 12 despite several injuries in that stretch too. At this point it really comes down to health -- especially LaMelo and to a lesser degree of concern Brandon. I think the roster is awfully close to being a playoff team (top 6 seed), offensively we are there but need more defensive help, especially a legit starting C (Kalk when healthy and Moussa are both fine players but neither should be starting right now for a team with playoff aspirations). Not sold on Lee but more games like last night and I'll start to believe obviously. Kon is an insanely good player period, let alone for a rookie. Great draft pick there. And Sion was a huge find, he already may be our best defensive player, although that's not saying much.    Seems like every time I say it the Hornets Hornet, but things seem to be finally looking up for this team.
    • If he craps the bed this playoff game and plays horrible, I don’t want to see a 5th year option. He is 4 years in as the #1 pick and is still wildly inconsistent in his game. That is not worthy of a 5th year option. I don’t care how anyone looks at it. If Bryce stinks up this game and plays horrible and they extend him? I’m done watching until we get another QB. Waste of my time.
