PFF still giving Bryce poo grades. This dude claimed only he could judge Young because he worked for them 😆

PFF is a gambling outfit designed to sway the sports betting market, so working for PFF isn't exactly a badge of honor that he thinks it is. Even if he did 'work' for PFF, it wouldn't surprise me that he was in charge of dispensing urinal cakes at the office building that PFF happened to operate out of, because his takes on Bryce are just so stupid that not even PFF would hire such a nincompoop. Everything he says is either a word salad or complete and utter garbage.

Been some interesting talk by podcasters discussing the dynamics of young and canales

1. thinks the ‘do right longer’ motto along with the no turnover mantra has him even more screwed up and

2. also a hangover from the 2023 beating

3. they point to his recent espn interview and also answers to beat reporters about progressions and time in pocket

he said ‘he runs when the play breaks down and does as many  progressions as possible as time  allows …i think the zavala experiment caused him to be more skittish

4. Then canales newness is not helpful either

bottom line from the podcasters   Feel He has 5 games left to stay in carolina and prove who is or he will be gone (i dont)

they also feel Canales needs  a veteran  OC   That either staff level coaching changes or a qb change has to come

as carolina turns. ml

On the game this weekend, said what to watch is evero vs mckay because of their ability to make in game adjustments. Canales not sO much.

The interview in question for anyone that might be interested.

I still can't believe he thought that was a good time to do an interview like that. Wild lack of situational awareness from a #1 pick with so many questionable performances across 40 starts.

I think he said the Bryce stuff was using his personalized data and code and all that stuff.

I remember several kind of ironically hilarious posts but one was “you do it and show your intelligence.”

I could see with my eyes in 30 minutes or less what his intelligent brilliant code and data points misrepresented and it took him how long to compile that poo?

What would you say demonstrated more intelligence?

QBs have to make themselves available to press. I’m assuming there’s some special considerations for prime time games.

bryce has been an incredibly micromanaged athletes since his time at Mater Dei. I cannot believe they didn’t screen those questions. They must really believe their own hype.

He’s surrounded by people whose whole careers are dependent on him not being a washout. Obviously not getting the best advice.

    • You’re playing madden we’re talking real football stuff…. He does have you seen his special on internet he def thinks he’s getting paid
    • Without the team having an identity kinda hard to predict what they value.  They either are really trying to build a balanced team, or preparing for another swing at qb if Bryce doesn’t pan out. Seems like we value the o line but the $ spent there has been underwhelming besides Lewis, you could say it’s because of injuries but still hasn’t been worth the investment. as already stated, the whole handling of Bryce young as a whole has been ass backwards, we spent the years we’re supposed to take advantage of having a qb with a lower cap hit, building the team up to be adequate. now It appears, key word appears, the saints have done it correctly, which is painful to even think about. Regardless, I hope the front office has paid attention to qb contracts recently, such as Tua, Kyler, Daniel jones(pre colts) and don’t settle for subpar qb play at franchise qb rates
    • This is the flaw in your logic.  Cutting 3 of our best players will somehow move us from whatever we are to "compete". Even the most Young super fans are not predicting a ceiling above top 10-12, and that will not nearly cut it.  Someone will need to break the log jam of QBs getting nothing or North of 50. Our qb is at best a middle ground, lets hope it will be us that also manage to pay the worth at about 100 over 3 years.  And before you jump me, yes that is only of he improves.
