Bills predictions

Unfortunately it is a bad time for us to get the Bills - they have a very good record after a bye week and they are getting back like 3 or 4 guys on defense. I think it gets ugly - I'll go 31 - 20 them

McDermott is actually 8-0 after bye weeks.

Guess he’s due one

My prediction is that Buffalo and Carolina will become trade partners after the game. Both have needs and both have resources the other side could use.

They won't do it, though, until, the game has been decided. Both may trot out a few guys that seem out of place for a play or two just to show off the goods, so to say.

I think we will surprise. We'll run all over them, and Dalton will be able to spread the ball around more effectively than Bryce. I just don't see a blowout like some are predicting. I heard the same thing about the Cowboys, but the Bills don't have anything close to Pickens. Not guaranteeing a win or anything, but it is possible. It will be closer than people think.

Buffalo is my other team so I’ve watched them all year. The two safeties Rapp and bishop are terrible in run and pass D, plus they’re slooooooow. The LBs aren’t great either but they have players on the dline. Ed Oliver is a pro bowler and rookie deone walker looks like a stud in the making. They have no WR outside of Shakir that’s scary and James cook is a top 5 back. Obviously my cootie patootie joshy woshy is always capable of taking a game over. I think the panthers hang around for the first half before allen puts on the cape in the second. 27-13 bills

Maybe. That's not a Bills team that has been playing very elite, however.

If it is close or we win, I am not exactly gonna chalk that up to us being a contender.

A win postpones the slide back to below .500, if I were to place a bet on the near future.

I am sorry but what I would love to see in coming weeks is a flash in the pan QB come from somewhere. Entertainment value will be high if there is some Bryce competition. Doesn’t look likely, just sayin.

Honestly think Panthers have a real chance in this game. Remember, Dalton is good for a game or two. Anything more than that and we're in trouble.

If Carolina's run defense continues to dominate, I don't think Josh will light us up. Honestly think they'll hold Cook under 75 rushing and Keon under 50 receiving. Do that and we're good. Now Kincaid will likely have a good game. But choose your battles.

They do. if Andy isn’t totally washed and if the OL can pass block.
We have the running game, and with Andy we have the play action and ability to stretch the field. I have been missing that so much. These are kind of big ifs.

A week of practice with the ones will make a big difference with Andy. And he does stretch the field alot more than Bryce - not sure why that dude hates taking shots deep. We'll lose a lot of mobility at the position, but Dalton is decisive and aggressive. He plays to win, while Bryce seems to play not to lose. Hopefully he snaps out of it after watching Dalton for another couple of weeks.

I don't think I would expect a lot more stretching the field. Just quicker decision making.

    • I could smell this excuse coming. Any starter drafted after the 2nd is a bonus, not an expectation. Oh we need more offensive help because we spent so much on defense. We spent all that because we've barely drafted any defensive starters the last 5 years. The way I see it you'll get a better return on investment in defense than offense currently with this team. We proved that last year with just a modicum of investment in the defense. I'm not the biggest believer in Evero but I trust him more than Bryce.  The biggest factor holding the offense back wears #9. Accuracy is one of his strengths? 23rd in the league while being 30th in Y/A. Someone will claim we get no YAC but 49% of our yards were YAC which is higher than most teams in the league.  Unless he drastically improves you're going to get a bad return on investment. Yes TMac had a great rookie year but it wasn't exactly efficient volume wise. He has one of the worst catch % in the league at just 57%, probably related to that 23rd accuracy ranking.
    • If this team lets the Bucks or Bulls catch them, Charles Lee should be fired immediately and punched in the face by some random fan on the way to his car.
    • Bucks and Bulls have to try hard to tank and not take our play in spot at this point, still not mathematically eliminated I think but too tired to do the math, too close for comfort either way to close out the regular season in a drought
