Bryce Young: one of least efficient qbs in the league past first read

Not at all. Just saying he’s not as bad  as some on here make him out to be. He’s still a starting caliber QB but jury’s out if he should be the face of the franchise after his rookie contract ends. He must  get into top 10 type of performances consistently to justify a second contract and / or bring someone to legitimately compete and push him to be better.

Always good to clarify.
Here is the thing, his best games are not as bad as some make out but his bad games are bottom 20s worthy. So he needs to stop that or he won’t be worth even finishing the contract. Which I know is guaranteed just sayin.

I think he could play his way out of that option year unless he raise his floor these last games. I am glad we have them to see.

I do

Thinking Bryce is top 20 is  pretty delusional, but you won’t win a Super Bowl in Carolina with the 20th best QB. Our GM isn’t capable of loading a roster like Philly.

Not with Tepper as the owner. It’s time to start over at QB

And that, is a helluva lot more concerning than anything else

That is all about staving off an unhappy fan base. Probably strongly encouraged by the boss.
You can’t have a good option in the wings with him stinking it up. People are not patient any more. Just look at this place.

People are sick and tired and mass incompetence. I could deal with it if this was just bad luck with injuries or a bust draft or 2. But it's been stupid move after stupid move, things so obvious members of a message board are screaming this is stupid. At this point, we're either cursed by some voodoo woman named Phyllis, or we have won the lottery of the most boneheaded owner ever and the Panthers are his island of misfit toys.

He's a bottom 5 starter. The type of starter you should be desperately trying to replace.

He is 39th in QBERT, 24th in QBR(of 33 qualifying), 26th in QB Rating, 21st in Success Rate, 29th in Completion% Above Expectation, etc, etc.

Do you think his current play warrants us picking up his 5th year?

I would argue whether he's bottom 5, or bottom 15, it's time to look to move on. He's not in the top half of QBs this year.

Bottom of the barrel starter. Basically the only debatably worse starters are guys who are rookies or first year starters, washed up, or journeymen. The young guys might still have upside, the washed up guys are on their way out, and the journeymen are journeymen for a reason - they're signed to be a bridge to the next guy.

I’ll never understand why Bryce is being guarded from being judged without guardrails.

A good player should just be able to put his product out there and stand tall with his dick in tact.

Jake did it in his prime, Cam for most of his career. It’s not that f*cking difficult. This kid is such a Z

Hmm, good bit of cherry-picking from the "don't cherry-pick" crowd. Wild seeing how bad Dalton was Sunday and he gets excuses made for fake injuries.

What excuses. Everyone said Dalton was ass. Even if he broke his thumb he was still ass and should have been replaced last offseason.
