I think now that you’ve posted this for the millionth time it’s finally going to work. Dan’s going to give up future assets to get Jameis in here so we can lose games and Tet might get enough yards to get into the OROY conversation. Canales is going to resign because winning this way, given the roster, is to the long term detriment to the team.

and yes, I called him Tet. Tet McMillan. Tetty Tet Tet Tet.

So because I'm a big fan of one of our WRs, I'm not allowed to be critical of the team or offense without it being about my guy?

Bryce had 102 yards of passing on 20 attempts.  He has one game this season of over 199 yards.

This isn't about T-Mac not getting yards, or catches, or even targets.  It's about the ineptitude of our passing offense as a whole because of our QB and coach.

That is not good enough in today's NFL and I'd say that whether T-Mac was on this team or not, or whether he had all 102 of those yards today or 0 of them.

He is 32nd in the league in YPA and 26th in completion %, and somehow people think he's the reason we're winning these games or even actually playing well?!?!

No, damn near everyone here knows Bryce ain’t it. The roster is what it is, and today’s game plan is the only way this team is capable of winning. I can’t blame Canales for trying to win games.

QB will be addressed next year. Even if they are foolish enough to keep Bryce, he’s going to have a vet and/or a draft pick breathing down his neck.

Yup. It's so clear the coaching staff is finally in agreement with the huddle that Bryce just can't be the main engine that moves the offense.

I mean Bryce could play well. He changed some minds late last year, but it appears it was an aberration based on his overall play this year.

I remember he led a comeback and nearly beat us 2 years ago on Christmas Eve. I’m happy we don’t have to face him again this season.

One of his handful of good games...

If he can ever get to a consistently high level, then he'd change minds. As it is... Meh.

I think our season is over on our side. You guys have lots of momentum now.

Still lots of football to play. 5-2-1 isn't a bad place to be.

I think you guys looked past us. I wouldn't be surprised if you beat Philly.

We play the Vikings twice yet, Bears twice, @Detroit, Baltimore, Philly at home and a road game in Denver. I only see us winning 8 games at best. We aren’t beating Philly. It would be a miracle.

I think you guys make the playoffs and we aren’t. Detroit will win the division.

I think TB probably wins our division but who knows.

As to you guys, I think you still have a solid shot. I get the concern but you're still on top of your division now, and I wouldn't be surprised if that continues. You'll probably win 3 of 4 vs Vikings and Bears, beat NYG, and at least one of Philly, Denver, and Baltimore. I think the division may come down to the 2nd game vs the Lions.

Even if we somehow make the playoffs we will be one and done so fast. Seattle, Rams, TB, Panthers, Detroit and Philly are all better than us.

    • Likewise. It’s been a bad team to watch for most of the last 6 years, so it’s hard to spend too much time here.   Your team is still good. They seem to play up or down to their competition. Hopefully this gets them focused and realizing that a C- effort can get them beat by anybody.
    • That’s not how it works, especially since we don’t have Horn follow #1s. It’s hell because the other team is usually throwing at you because Horn takes away the other option.
    • Jackson could never intercept a ball for the rest of his career and he’s still a very solid starting CB. It’s crazy to me people are saying things like he sucks or a good team would replace him. He’s been very good at covering guys and deflecting passes, which is even more impressive given that teams avoid the other side of the field cuz of Horn. Jackson is one of the better #2 CBs in the league and no amount of dropped interceptions changes that.
