Meanwhile the eagles trade a low third for Jalen Phillips.

The Eagles can afford to. Their team is loaded with talent. I dream of the day this team gets into the position where we can toss out a pick like that.

Looking at the way this team operates and surveying who is available... I think these names will be talked about adding...

Von Miller(connection with Evero) low compensation  and vet leadership

Bradley Chubb(same as above) if  compensation is around a 3rd

I think 1 of these guys have a high chance to be a Panther by 4pm.

Both have 4 sacks on the year btw

Any chance asanti Samuel jr wants to come here? I know he played really well his first few years in the league but may have been ass lately. He's coming off a broken back but would he be an upgrade over Mike Jack? Wouldn't have to trade for him

I’d sell our 3rd and further for an impact player on defense 🤷🏾‍♂️

I wouldn’t want to see us give a third away in an in season deal for a player we have to pay good money to on top of the pick. Like, really would not like it.

I wouldn't mind trying him a free safety. He was a good zone corner... good at read n react

    • I mean, he's a professional athlete.  What you think as a fan vs what he should think as a player are completely different.  Being bad doesn't mean you should lack confidence in yourself, and really that is true in all forms of life.  Do everything you want to do with confidence. Justin Fields sucks, but does he ever play like someone who doesn't believe in his own abilities?   Obviously you need more than confidence to be a high-level NFL player, and Bryce will never be that.  But he could still create 2-3 extra plays a game if he allowed himself to play more "free" like he did in the second half of last season.  The fact he refuses to use his legs to pick up yards nowadays hurts this team.  Simple things like that would go a long way for us, even if not for him.
    • I've always thought it odd that the QB is the only guy in the roster who carries a record. If a RB puts up 1200 yards but the team sucks then everyone still says the RB had a good year. If a QB puts up good numbers put the D is atrocious and the win loss record isn't great due to that then the narrative is that the QB can't win. Now that we're finding a way to win with suddenly dominant D and dominate running game people are trying to shift to this "Bryce is just a winner" narrative while he puts up bottom of the league numbers while near the top of the league in turnovers. It's just funny to watch.
