Why do people think Bryce Young won this game yesterday?

Oh I agree. I don't think we see the same QB room next season as we have this season. Dalton has reached the end of the line it appears. He's just not even got the staying power to come in for Bryce right now (talk about not setting the bar very high). I think we'll probably pick up a new QB in the draft and give Bryce the opportunity to stay on the bench here or be traded out on that fourth contract year.

Long term, we need someone with more oomph. Bryce is tougher and more resilient than I thought he would ever be, but he needs to be able to regularly move that ball down the field more. There's no doubt about that.

It's why I was so pissed about Dalton this offseason. We needed to pivot and move into a better position. Whether it be a Jones, Brissett, Howell, Winston or another option, we could have positioned better with a 2 year contract with any of those guys. Brissett or Howell 1st, I dont think Jones would have taken a backup no shot at starter role, and Jameis is what he is, but still better than Dalton. Either way, If Bryce didn't work out, there's someone to play next year and we're not forced into a bad FA trade or pickup or even worse, another trade up for a rookie QB.

Just some thought put into the QB room with a little future strategy in mind. Also, on the chance Bryce does work out, and gets injured, you have a better backup to carry on any playoff aspirations. Win-win scenario.

From what we've seen so far, I dont see how we can offer an extension or the 5th year, and I can't see Bryce willingly playing his 4th with no guarantees moving forward. He's been backup quality and you can't pay 18m AAV for that level of play.

It's not a bash fest on Bryce. This is where we are now with 8 games remaining in a pivotal contract determination year. JMO, but this was poor planning by the FO, most likely driven by Tepper himself. Again, not Bryce's fault for the overall QB room situation, just where we happen to find ourselves.

Feel free to go down memory lane.  A lot of us questioned why the fug would we do this and per usual huddle we have many many posters praising this as a good move.   Oy vey

Maybe you should think about getting off Twitter. Nothing good comes from Twitter.

Twitter, a.k.a. X, is rife with bots, trolls and idiots (for real). Twitter is confirmation that many people are just as dumb as we thought they were.

Since the season started? mythos would be anything that describes him as “just winning games” or coming on in the fourth quarter or talking about “game winning drives” or whatever. That’s what mythos is.

any time mark schlereth opens his mouth about Bryce he’s basically invoking the Greek oral tradition to talk about how a demigod is about to overcome the odds.

mythos is just recurrent plot structure or themes.

Don't forget his mastery of "big time throws".

All social media is that way. Everyone on Twitter is also on every social media site on the planet. You cannot get away from them.

This is my place of solitude from that crap. I let you folks filter through it for me so I don't have to have that crap on my phone. I only click on what I want to and ingnore the rest. It's like an exclusive lounge at the airport and the drinks are free.
