Why do people think Bryce Young won this game yesterday?

Honestly he played a huge part in it. Your defense did and Rico was the main factor.

No, because I never say "Player X won (or lost) us the game" at all.

Whether you agree with their opinion or not, sometimes the honest opinions of opposing fans are helpful.

They don't necessarily have the preconceived notions some of us do.

Bryce made some key throws and scrambles for us. Doesn’t mean he won us the game, but we didn’t win in spite of him either. Look, I know we need a QB that can drive the ball deep, but what we got right now is Bryce. When he is able to make some guys miss in the pocket and get him a little scramble and he starts cheesing, he can be serviceable. Trent Dilfer and Rex Grossman played in Superbowls. You can win like this, but eventually we’ll have to upgrade.

Bryce didn't commit too many errors to enable the Packers win.  There, that's the best way to look at it.

 

 

 

But damn, if that is our threshold of success for our starting QB, then woo-boy...

Not directly coming at you mr scot but as I have asked others and its the same response, but how in the fug could anyone watch 3 years of bryce and especially his last 2 games and come away with you still dont know if is the guy?  I mean for fugs sake the league has obviously figured him out and we are winning despite him.  Any qb in the league, back ups included could have been behind center and we still would have won.

He completed two passes then damn near threw an INT at which point we took the forward pass out of the playbook and Rico drug us into long FG range.

Those 2 passes were great though. Our defense couldn’t stop him when it counted.
