Short 0-9

intermediate 10-19

long 20+

I didn’t come up with these numbers but it’s what everyone uses so

Man that ball hit him in the damn hands. I have no idea why he tried to catch that ball the way he did. There’s no way in hell Tmac didn’t go back to the huddle and tell Bryce “my bad”. Every Sunday you see WR’s go up and make highlight reel catches. But only here is the bar set so low for what a WR should catch. These guys get paid to make plays too.

I think there's a difference between a ball a WR should come down with ideally and a drop.

So I'd like to see him make that but I also acknowledge that better ball placement and it's a TD.

Bryce Young has now played in 38 career games and some folks are still making excuses and lowering the bar and arguing the jury is still out on him but the same folks are fully throwing a rookie TMac completely under the bus only nine games into his career because he can't haul in every Bryce Young pass many of which are consistently poorly placed.

The hypocrisy and inconsistent standards are simply stunning.

DC has essentially crafted a way to win while asking Bryce to do the bare minimum possible to not lose the game. I can't fathom that that is the model he would willingly choose to keep utilizing into the future. There's gotta be a QB upgrade planned.

Not bad for a failed QB whisperer

Look, Tua let the cat out of the bag a few weeks ago when he said that short QBs CAN'T see down field without clear passing lanes. This is from a slightly taller NFL QB than Bryce.

If short QBs have to step up in the pocket or it gets murky, they have to depend on timing/play design and hope the WR is where the should be when they pass the ball.

Point being, why should we have to limit our offense to compensate for the deficiencies of the QB, especially going forward beyond this season?  it is what it is for now, the staff will work with and scheme around Bryce. Going forward it seems like malpractice to say: "this dude, with all his limitations, is the guy to get us to a Super Bowl."  Complete and utter insanity.

Welcome to the 2023 draft. The limitations were known but yet they went ahead and traded up to get him. It is what it is.

T-Mac will tell you he expects to make that catch. But every missed opportunity with Bryce at QB just feels massive because you know there's not gonna be many. You watch other teams and there's near misses all over the place but it's just okay, next play let's go. But with the Panthers it feels like you're doomed because that was THE chance you're gonna have.

Oh yeah, I remember all too well. Height isn't his only issue, a weak arm and inability to run inside due to his slightness as well.  I bet we don't have the tush push in our playbook, or any variation of a short yardage QB keeper...which is absurd.

In fairness the Cards do the same thing with Murray. Im not worried about not having a qb sneak. Hell the Saints sub in Hill for the same thing.

Love had 271 yards passing yesterday with a pick though. He almost threw 2 more picks. He may have outplayed Young by a mile but you won’t win many games with 2 turnovers, turnover on downs and a missed Field goal. Also we had only 3 drives in the first half and 4 plays resulting in loss of yardage.

We don’t count near picks on this board. Also he didn’t miss a field goal; that was your rapist kicker.

Red zone woes did you guys in.  You could move the ball, but not seal the deal when it counted. Teams can overcome a turnover or two, but you can't generally win relying largely on FGs.
