What gets this team past this?

Seems like this team cannot handle the spotlight, the pressure. Is there one thing, be it a player, a coach, etc.. What is needed most for this team to stop breaking our hearts? Is it just simply believing and trusting in each other? Panthers could certainly use a couple more pieces on defense. But what is it with this team? When everything is right in front of them they just seem to fold. Is it simply that they're just not ready?

No, it's that they're never going to be good for one reason or another. They've never going to have a winning season again, and it's for multiple factors: poor ownership, poor players and poor coaching are big, but the NFL also doesn't want nor need the Panthers to ever be a respectable outfit.

Ignore the other team's record 17 out of 17 games and take any win as if it's the Super Bowl, because no one will ever see this team have another winning season. This was our last shot at not losing 10+ until the mid-to-late 2040s.

Right but you need to have the right connections to get the refs to call the game favorably for your team and as far as getting players on other teams to comply with bribes, etc

I wasn't being serious when I stated that. I don't buy into that notion at all

    • Taking only players from the sheet that are realistically available in or after the listed round, I’d like… 1st: DT Caleb Banks (Styles not realistic) 2nd: LB Jacob Rodriguez 3rd: OT Best available from Bowry, Barber, and Casey 4th: CB Daylen Everette 5th: S Jalen Huskey 6th: RB Adam Randall 7th: IOL Best available from Lemieux, Dawkins, Leausa, and Brose   I know nothing about some of the players listed, but it seems like that would be the best way it could fall for now. I’m sure the list of who we meet will change a ton, and there will also be players we don’t meet with to keep quiet. I’d love to pick up Randall in the late rounds.
    • Not what I said. They know within the building why we aren't utilizing TEs more. If the rumors were true that we were seriously pursuing a couple of decent receiving TEs that strongly points toward a lack of quality receiving TEs currently on the roster. Does that mean we consider drafting one at 19? I don't know, but it wouldn't shock me and if we did there's only one guy it would be. I wouldn't be surprised at all to see TE drafting somewhere in the first three rounds.
    • Yeah, I don’t know. Tepper was behind the Bryce selection. Behind firings and hiring over his lack of development.  He doesn’t have to literally tell them their hands are tied for them to know this. It is in the air constantly. The Canales Bryce play calling was even portrayed by more than one person as Canales failing Bryce, instead of Bryce being responsible for his own performance (except when he does well, then it is all him). Now they have an extra coach in, to help the new OC get results from this QB.  The atmosphere is not welcoming to prototypical young QBs that have talent. You get Jake Plummer types or old vets. I think we are stuck.
