While we are venting, let’s get back to our horrific owner.

Just a reminder of an important quote from our fearless leader:

This league is set to be an 8-8 league,” Tepper said in the Amazon series covering the Panthers. “Everything is fair in this league. So if you have better coaches, better GM’s, some advantages with facilities, advantages with the training, management process, whatever those, whatever it is, you know, analytics, whatever that is to give you an edge, that’s what you need. And you need a good quarterback.”

Yet here we are, years later acting like it’s a gift from the heavens to even sniff 8 wins.

43 wins, 87 losses .307 winning percentage.

0 playoff appearances, 3 GM’s, 6 head coaches.

All this to say we had a golden opportunity that literally fell into our lap to finally win the division and we couldn’t even beat the Saints who have 4 wins total, 2 from sweeping us. This franchise will continue to be pathetic while he owns the team. Even with our “improved season” this is the results we get from our offensive minded head coach finishing up year 2:

Tepper will always be the root of the problem. That poo hasn't changed at all, nor do I expect it to.

I remember when delusional Redskins fans thought that Snyder had gotten better when he stepped away and let the football people do their thing. Then he came back and got involved directly again because it "wasn't fun."

Ah...good ol David Snyder.

Dude Tepper hasn’t been around like the last two years. You’re brining up stuff from half a decade ago lol

New owner hires two guys that sound like they know what they are doing (Rhule/Fitterer) they do significant damage to the team and he’s trusting real football guys (Morgan/Tillis) to fix it, and you expect it to be done already.

He stepped away from the media (part due to bad PR, part due to the league forcing him to after throwing a drink and checking a bar owner for a sign they put up). Do you believe for a second that he just magically backed off behind the scenes and does not have his weekly meetings with the Gm and Coach?

    • if  ANYONE actually goes & looks at the FACTS on rookie Qb's after 2 full seasons as a starter in the NFL & they are still well below average do they rarely ever actually become top tier Qb's & instead most likely either do not recieve a second contract & or become life long backups...just saying
    • So he became GM and decided not to address the weakness in the QB room following one of the worst rookie QB performances in NFL history?  There were options last season other than signing Dalton to a 2 year deal. Brissett and Jones by a wide margin, both of whom outplayed Bryce, Wilson, Winston, hell even Rivers off the couch was more exciting at the QB position. The time to address the failure in the QB room was last year but instead people on the Huddle cheered when we brought Dalton back then cheered when we were able to get anything for him after they finally realized he was washed up like a few of had been saying all along and got poo'd for even mentioning.  This year, the options were more limited obviously, especially since we lost Icky. It changed the dynamic of our draft. I think we were stuck this year keeping Bryce, but i still think giving him a 5th year option for what has amounted to replacement worthy performance was the wrong move. Why guarantee 25m if you're planning to replace him? You think he's going to want to be a bridge QB? Hell no. He's going to want out and we'll end up cutting him if he has another lackluster season because no one is trading for him with that price tag.  Were there better options as far as production available. A couple. Were there guys available with more physical tools than Bryce, Pickett or Grier, you damn well better believe there were. I've been saying all along, you always keep looking for your 1b. Bryce has yet to prove he can be a starter. Keep looking for someone who may. Put competition in camp. Let the best QB lead the team. Stop settling for less than mediocre.
