Pat Mahomes throws a pick and the heads are like man Mahomes is falling off and find ways to critique him.

BY finally throws a ball for the first time in 8 games that any Texas HS football QB makes every week and the heads are ready to praise him I just don’t understand why everyone likes this guy. They are all happy as hell he ain’t on their team but happy to praise his 25 passing yards from the studio.

I’m out of pie for today, il try and get you tomrw.

a coaches nightmare, not a huge canales fan but damn I have pity for the man knowing he has to scheme guys up completely open for the passing game to work and even then its a shaky proposition ie the tet int

It’s wild to me how all these talking heads constantly say how Bryce “answered some questions” or “played great down the stretch” like he isn’t the most incompetent QB in the NFL.

I swear he must have dirt on everyone or something.

He’s complete ass and I’m tired of the media and dumbass fans trying to gas me up.  He’s useless and worthless all rolled into one.  I’m done with his little ass.

It’s like the cherry-picked weird stats they throw up to try and make Bryce look good.

“11 of his 14 wins have been game winning drives in the fourth quarter.”

This subterfuge is trotted out like a sort of indicator of some indescribable moxy that Bryce has to get it done. It completely forgets that 14 wins in three years means an average of less than 5 wins per year. It also forgets that because BY is trash, even when we do win, we are behind at the end of the game mostly because of BY’s inability to be an actual NFL QB.

Today solidified it for me. BY needs to get dropped. DC needs to get dropped. We need to tear the bandaid off and completely start over unfortunately, because we are 18 good starters, three coordinators, a head coach, and a new owner away from ever playing competitive football.

I wish I didn’t love this team so much. I feel like a battered wife that can’t run away because I don’t know how to write a check or open a bank account.

Don’t worry cuz we still get 2 more years of this retarded poo to enjoy.

We only had to score 17 tonight.  Running game didn't work, honestly, the OL had some weird energy.  There's the loss because nothing else really dropped the ball.  It's just that we rely on a successful Run-O THAT much:

-The defense bent, didn't break, had a takeaway, but the opposing team was able to make longer suffocating drives.  Just needed 17 to win tonight.

-Bryce had some bad moments sprinkled in with good (but not good enough) - par for the course there.  A bad giveaway, some decent touch passes, but nothing special.

-Some drops and bad route running

-Bad situational play calls on both sides of the ball

We couldn't control the clock, had some crap calls that our crappy performance made too much of a factor.

Not sure how to feel, to be honest. The heavy rain made me think whoever had the better running game today would have the big advantage. 138 yards to 19 yards is a travesty, but also a confirmation that our run game has gone downhill over the last few weeks. Our tackling was not good, and it was especially painful seeing Mayfield making our guys whiff. We did at least take advantage of the turnover but the pick was not good nor was the missed field goal. I have no clue what was going on with that flea flicker - if that was even the designed play or just Rico doing something incredibly dumb - and the refs, boy, they went and screwed us over multiple times. T-Mac has been manhandled like crazy and that's not called but he gets a flag? Wow.

Worst part was actually the team rallying back - despite everything that happened - because that meant putting my faith in this third and Evero defense to make one key stop and the entire world saw it coming that the Bucs were going to pass. And of course, the guy was wide open. Classic Panthers raising my spirits to utterly crush them.

But they haven't done that to me in a long time. I don't like it, but it's like we're finally back to what this Panthers team was before Tepper took over.

Guys, I just don't know if I can watch or follow this team if Bryce is the Qb next year. I have been a dedicated fan since we were chosen as a new franchise in 1994. I've been through a lot of frustrations with this team, but since Tepper purchased it it's been nothing but frustrating. We just are not a competitive team. I hate to be feeling like this, but I don't see a bright future at all.

1993, not 1994. It was a couple days after my 11th birthday if memory serves.

i have a different take the fact that dc could get 8 wins this year with byoung at qb basically says the rest of thr team is actually good give this team a halfway decent qb and easily 10 wins this year and in the playoffs no question.  i really feel one halfway decent qb from being competitive.  mac jones...

    • If you're looking for a pat on the back it sounds good in theory until you realize they also had the 2023 Panthers as the top draft class.
    • Going into the 2003 and 2015 seasons we were supposed to be the joke of the league each time. In 2003, John Fox was supposed to still be in rebuild mode. We had a guy named Peppers on the defensive line who was supposed to be pretty good. We had Rodney Peete as our starting QB and a line that was a lot of hope and not much experience. Our new running back was a guy the Redskins, errrr Commanders, had jettisoned for being too old. We had a good kicker and writers thought that was needed because there were going to be more field goals than touch downs. Heck, it looked like they were right up until just before halftime of that first game when we had to yank Rodney Peete and put in some Cajun duded whose name couldn't be pronounced. And Steve Smith? He wasn't Smitty yet. Moose Muhammad, well, he was close to being written off as a bust. You know how that turned out. And then in 2015, we had Cam Newton, who was electrifying to watch but hadn't really won anything yet. There was an offensive line in front of him that looked like it was made in a defunct Swiss cheese factory and our big hope on offense was the great Kelvin Benjamin. And then he got taken out for the year with a knee injury in training camp. Ted "Feet of Lightning, Hands of Stone" Ginn became our default go to guy beside our next best hope, yeah, Devin Funchess. Our defense was pretty good, a scrappy bunch with frikkin' awesome linebacker play and a cornerback who had done more than drank the Kool-Aid, but had snorted the powder. He played like a superhero and became sort of a bat-man during the season. By the Super Bowl he had completely lost his freaking mind, though, and managed to talk his way out of a contract with the team next year. No one was expecting us to win the NFCSouth that season, much less almost go undefeated and into the Super Bowl. So, 2026? Who knows? But our best seasons came when no one had a reason to believe in us, except us.
    • it's not so much this personal vendetta against the Carolina Panthers as it is more about Bryce Young never not once been in the same conversation with the top 15 or even top 20 Qbs in the NFL ..just saying
