I was a Darnold and a Stroud guy. So my mind would be at peace.  
 

edit: the is the really fuged up part of it. Had we shown Darnold the patience and made the investment in Darnold vis a vis the players around him that Bryce was given, we might be where the Seattle team is.

Crazy the amount of false starts that get a pass in the NFL. Houston's RT was a step and a half into his drop when the ball was snapped on that 3rd down conversion. See it happen all the time. KC's RT last year was the most egregious offender.

I personally wouldn't call him elite, but I would also say he's gotten his team into the playoffs every year so far.

It's however you want to look at it really. Stroud has managed to get to the playoffs every year. Football is a team sport, sure. He probably wasn't getting carried that 1st year in the NFL, but whatever you want to believe.
