Our D is lacking for talent in large part because of how heavily we've invested on pieces to put around Bryce.

Dell is out due to injury, diggs only played like half the season due to injury. Nico is in and out the lineup due to injury and please remember he was a nobody till stroud got there. Nick chubb had 500 yards this year and 3 tds...he's damn near washed. He's not better than our top 2 rbs. Higgins is a rookie learning. Ersery is a good but the o line is still a issue. Come on man.... if you gonna mention all that dont forget the context.

Your point is that we used a bunch of picks on offense. So have the Texans combined with signing FA WR’s

Year 2 still Stroud 

Year 3 its close. Right now I’d still take Stroud but it’s not a massive gap

I have money on Houston to win SB. Only took I put money on. I obviously like Stroud I’m not saying he’s bad. I’m just saying their D can honestly win the SB if he doesn’t do anything stupid

And despite all that im not just gonna blindly let stroud off the hook like bryce stans do. Cuz we know everybody else gets raked over the coals constantly. Stroud needs to get his poo together or texans gonna be sitting at home the rest of playoffs.

      Dave in a presser gassed up Anthony Tyus III and dying to see him on the field.  I mean 3 is all that needed right, and Dan loves etienne. He's one year filling in his body. If brooks is back, toss in chubba, thats 3.

      After seeing hits in the last two UDFA pools, I do not in this group sorta of a let down after I gassed myself up.  Not like I know of their games, but just expected more. The duke DT only has to beat out hunte (2025 UDFA) or Ray (DL coach's kid) or even Cam Jackson mid 2025 5th.  I thought they would bring in more edges, IOL, TEs, etc...

      My 2 favorite picks, since you didn't ask? 3. Brazzell II.  A 1000 yard WR with 4.37 speed and checks all the boxes for a Z Wide Receiver.  IN THE THIRD ROUND!!! 5.  Sam Hecht.  I think he will take over as the starter at some point this season and never look back.  IN THE FIFTH ROUND. Runner Up:  2. Hunter:  We were targeting a DT early in this draft because we did very little to replace Robinson in free agency.  Hunter was our guy and he will start. In addition to that, you got a starting tackle that should man one side of the new OL we will build for Bryce's second contract. A starting WR, offensive lineman, defensive lineman and possible Offensive tackle (at some point during this year from this draft will start.  UNREAL. In addition, I don't doubt that Wheatley (5th round) takes the FS job by next year and Lee III is Jackson's replacement in 2027.   Finally, even Kuwatch should be a special teams demon and LB depth.   Last year's draft was so good it was ugly.  This one will turn out to be uglier.  No offense Basbear--this ain't about you.
