And unless the Steelers revamp their offense, it will not go well for him.

They thought keeping Burns over Moore was the play. From what I heard, because this QB can turn marginal players into functional weapons. We won’t miss Moore… wait and see. 
 

Then it was kind of, oh poo we are have to tear our defense down and use every stick and brick we have left to help our QB not bust out.

They won't have any options.  No good free agency qbs, they're picking too low in a one or two qb draft class.

What they actually need is to totally bottom out next year and pick first in 2027 to reset their franchise.

I mean....name a worse QB in the playoffs. Sam Darnold is absolute trash but he is way better than this version of CJ Stroud.

I genuinely struggle to think of a worse QB in the past decade or so, minus Manning.

It would totally fit that franchise. They'd be like the NFL version of the spurs. Have a down year, get Duncan. Have a down year, get Wimby. Steelers going to have their worst season ever and wind up with a 20 year hall of fame qb as the reward.

Yeah the blueprint is to build a generational defense to carry a marginal QB
