Coker is a legit #2.  He might actually be better than Tmac.

what we need is a legit YAC slot player and a pass catching TE.   But some of that will get into the O scheme and QB.    But we got 2 legit WRs in Carolina to play on the outside.

I agree. Speedy YAC guy and TE. Coker and TMac are a solid combo.

Coker and TMac are basically equals as #1s.  I like XL but he and Bryce aren't on the same page at all.  The pass to the end zone Bryce threw that was flat as hell and gave XL absolutely no chance to run under is a prime example.  I just don't know what it is, but every ball he throws in XL's direction is absolutely terrible.

Give me KC Concepcion and get rid of XL.

I wouldn't mind that but a lot of times you can get a good speedy slot guy in the 2nd or 3rd.  Way too early I kind of want Kenyon Sadiq in the first, then defense and a speedy slot the rest of the draft.  Sadiq would give us a reliable tight end in the passing game.  Our offense has been so much better any games we got anything out of our tight ends, and he also is a really good blocker.

Diversity is always good.  So we should add speed to the #3.

Moore, XL, Renfrow, and Horn ain’t it.   And Tremayne should be groomed to backup TMac/Coker.

Horn hasn't really been given a chance.

He is just too small for me.   Not too short just too small.   Think he would always be too gadget and scheme dependent.  Not saying cut the kid….but we someone we needs someone we can keep on the field and just play in traditional WR sets.  He ain’t got the size for it.

I will be watching what Green Bay does with their WR room. Doubs is set to become a free agent. I doubt they bring him back, but if they do, that’s a crowded WR room with Watson, Doubs, Golden, Reed, Wicks, and S Williams. I’d really love Jayden Reed if he became available in the last year of his rookie contract.

Would love to have Doubs, but I'm afraid that our receiving corps wouldn't be versatile enough. It would be interesting to see how the opposition would handle three pretty good route runners with good size and hands. That would be a dream. I would expect Doubs to be in the slot, but we could actually mix and match.

    • when we drafted Bryce Young that team might have been more talented than the team we currently have ?  that was the whole reasoning behind morgagting  our immediate future to trade up to #1 overall for BY. our front offices & owners felt like hey guess what the time is now to srike while the iron is hot go hire an All Star coaching staff we were only a Qb away from taking that next step ..just saying
    • I just dont get the worry over losing a practice squad player that just went undrafted. Everyone just made their selections. The chances of a team wanting to sign him to an active roster after not selecting him is very low.  If that interested they would have taken him late to evaluate in person. As far as I can tell two qbs were signed off another teams practice squad last season and they were both going in to their 5th season.
    • I enjoyed reading this thread and the usual banter that follows. The only silver lining I can identify right now is we do actually have a couple of young QB's behind him and we do have a nice roster on both sides of the ball built around the most important position. So if the team overall shows some promise but we still falter largely due to a lack of consistent passing output (again) hopefully the decision makers can be free to make the best decision for the team going forward after the conclusion of this upcoming season.
