If the Hornets come out and win this game tonight after the suspensions, it will really show that this team is turning a corner

Honestly Bridges can be a liability out there and this 3 center rotation isn't bad at all. If anything Twitter is pissed they took out PJ Hall after putting up 6 points in 5 minutes

I love to see how well the team has bounced back and responded with a physical game at home missing key players. Certainly encouraging.

I think PJ Hall would be over Ryan if he was getting the same minutes, looks really good minus some chemistry issues on passes

Ugly win but man it feels good to be “upset” about an ugly win. This team is legit when they can win ugly like this in a game with potentially big playoff implications while down 2 starters.

I'd like to get into 8th they've owned Orlando

I think 7 or 8 seed is a reasonable expectation/hope at this point. Maybe Philly really falls off too and 6 could be up for grabs, but that’s a stretch. Magic aren’t that good. Not sure what I think of the Heat, they really shouldn’t be good roster wise but obviously well coached and they’ve had our number forever regardless of who’s on the teams. All that said we do have a pretty tough schedule to close out the year so gotta keep riding this momentum. This season is a massive massive success if we can finish with at least 42 wins and a playoff appearance. Both of those are well within reach.

If we stay in 9th and have to win 2 in a row I don't love it. Getting 2 cracks at it I don't think they blow both games.

    • Absolutely. He just turned 27 a few days ago, so quite young. He and Moehrig would be quite the pairing.  I know we say this every year, but this FA period has A LOT of talent that will be switching uniforms. We were aggressive last year and have no doubt this time next week will have some studs on defense.
    • DJ Moore has always been a bit of an enigma. He came here young, flashed a ton of potential, but never truly grew into a real #1. He’s had a few good reasons, but yet to have a real monster season (outside of his first year with Chicago) We’re still waiting for him to blossom, but he will be 29 next season. I fear that it is too late for him at this point.
    • I have considered free agency.  LT?  Either not good enough or too expensive.  Besides, this is a good OT draft.  (I would rather have a free agent, mind you, but the Panthers' reality suggests we can't do it without neglecting other positions).  What LTs are available in free agency, and what do you expect to pay?  Any Ickey-level OT is going to cost over $20m.   How much do we already have invested in our OL?  I get your point, but I do not think you can spend over $100m per on your OL. We have 2 guards and a right T who pull in about $75m per season.  We don't have a center yet.  Teams just don't let good LTs hit free agency, and when one does on rare occasion, he is expensive.  If you want a third of the Panther cap going to 5 Offensive Linemen, free agency is the way to go.  We still need S, ILB, Edge, WR, etc. I think we'd need more than Nijman--and I would understand if we went free agent for a T--but that is putting a TON of your cap at OL--so considering our situation, I do not see that option as preferable.  You may disagree. If I was not talking LT on our line and thinking about the cap, I would agree 100%.
