Tonight’s opponent, the Miami Heat, will be without their leading scorer Norman Powell (22.5 ppg).

Miami is currently sitting at the the 8 seed and the Hornets are 2 games behind in the play-in 9th seed.

Great opportunity to cut that lead down to 1 game tonight at home.

Will be interesting to see how they come out tonight. The Boston game seemed to open the flood gates of media attention. And it’s not just that they’re playing well, in some instances they are getting compared with all time greats. This is still a young team, and it would be easy for an immature team to lose some focus, buy into their own hype, and think they can coast bit. The Heat are a middle of the road team without their leading scorer. There is no big dragon to slay, no big statement to make. I think we’ll learn a lot tonight: are they young but mature, or do they still have a ways to go mentally?

2 back from both Orlando and Miami in 7th and 8th. 

 

Chances of getting to the 5th or 6th seed are definitely going up.

I mean they are rolling right now.... deff possible, heck I'm seeing tons of crazy comparisons to the start of the warriors dynasty.
