I think viable option is being generous. Another hit to the noggin and his eggs are going to be scrambled like a Denny's grand slam breakfast.

Yeah, it's not even about football to me. He's QBing a division rival so I obviously hope he struggles but I don't want to see the guy wearing a bib drooling on himself the rest of his life. His family really should convince him to walk away. He should have serious generational wealth in the bank already.

One of my long time customers is recovering from a major concussion last year. He's been in rehab for 8 months and is still not walking without assistance and will likely never fully recover. I understand the competitive nature, but I'd have to seriously consider retirement with that history of TBI's at his age. The possibility of needing someone to wipe your ass for the next 40 years isn't appealing when sitting on that level of wealth.

I have a relative that had a bad concussion 10 years ago and he’s never been the same since. I can’t imagine 2 or 3.

Jenkins is better though. Would be a great git (I'm a state homer tho)

Is he a good center though? He played guard for all his career except last year right? He’s 30 and coming off an injury and lost his job so maybe he will be cheap?

while I do want us to get a center, I think it’s a position that you can easily find a no name back up and make a starter. There’s lots of teams that have had decent centers that came from no where or was UDFA or back ups on other teams. Maybe we will use one of our guys already on the roster?

Feels like day one is over or the initial signings have greatly slowed.

I am surprised Lloyd hasn't signed. I'm thinking he's trying to get maximum coin seeing a few guys just below him signing already. He will either get the Brinks truck backed up to him or will come in below market.

If it's the latter, we might be good.

Not holding my breath for Lloyd, but I could see us sign Dean, Nijman and maybe trade or sign a QB2. I think Andy could be dealt during the draft to move up ever so slightly or swap day 3 picks as a throw in. We just want to get off that $$.
