Yeah that last line.. I don’t want anything to do with him even though it would be fun to challenge Bryce with a leadership situation. I’d like to see how he handled it.

It also made me think. It seems like these twitch type fast WRs are more prone to diva jerk personality disorder. Why the hell is that? Rhetorical…. Generally high strung is my guess. Just running on a different clock.

Honestly, for a lot of them, it's probably just as simple as little man syndrome.

Take it from someone who was always the shortest kid on every team growing up (I was still 4'10" as a Freshman in HS), it puts a chip on your shoulder that you feel you have to always prove you belong and it makes you extra competitive.  Even if you no longer are shorter than everyone, it's still there when you compete.  Which again, as someone who ended up 5'10" and is now slightly above average height, when it comes to playing sports, in my head, I'm still the 5'2" I was when I turned 16.

Chubb might be the exact short term answer for a needed pass rush without destroying our available cap and will still allow our young guys to get reps and improve.

I am in agreement. A guy with that profile, a talented short timer, isn’t a bad idea. We got a lot of mileage from our draft last year but you can’t get instant adult level production from these young guys. Reliably anyway. This guy could help us take up the slack.

Hmm, good question. Let’s see, he’s 32 and coming off of an ACL tear in September. He’s likely never going to have the speed again that made him great. Also he’s a narcissistic piece of poo who would totally demand targets and stunt the development of Coker and Tet. He would be a major toxic presence in the locker room and he would make Bryce cry and look for a safe space. Nothing could go wrong at all, nothing.

32 age is a factor.

ACL injury is factor.

All that other nonsense blah, blah, blah.

How does adding another playmaker stunt TMac and Coker what kind of insane logic is that.

For the record I dont care about adding Hill I jusr want to add a playermaker period.

the trend in Carolina is not to sign veterans on the back ends of their careers.

Madden players do not think about the locker room much.  Real world situations?  Locker room is very important.

Man you guys that know which players are good for the locker room and who's not can I get the lottery number please.

I'm always amazed that you guys act like you know these people personally, I dont remember Hill making TO or Steve Smith headlines, what he does in his personal life as long as he isnt committing crimes is his business.

The guy is still recovering from a major, major injury. He's a locker room cancer. He's over 30. He sometimes requires the team ownership to intervene with local police over stupid poo. He's going to cost $20 million a year of salary cap with diminishing returns.

Let's just let this one limp on by.

I see him going to Vegas since they don't have any receivers whatsoever. Tyreek, Brock Bowers, second year Ashton Jeanty and if Fernando Mania pans out would be a decent offense.

So you mean a team is going to pick him up, but aren't they afraid he's going to set the locker room on fire and lace the Gatorade?

Really don't understand why this conversation is so contentious or why people are in their feelings over it. The possibility of it actually happening is minimal at best. And besides. The Panthers have already tried introducing a malcontent WR that another team was eager to move on from into the locker room. It's the last thing we need at this point in time.

Dude is scum. He has a criminal history that is public record. Look it up if you haven't. Multiple domestic violence incidents plus child abuse. No need to intentionally bring a piece of poo like that into your locker room.

    • I used to think Juan was a Zod alt. Agree he's a great poster.
    • Hawks said nah we good and sent him to the shadow realm aka the Wizards. Cold blooded. I mean they're 2-2 in a series with a young up and coming Knicks team largely through 34 year old CJ McCollum. Even if they ultimately lose the series at least they are there and have something to build on. I think Hornets fans are just beaten down and lack the objectivity to assess the situation. They think we are going to get so much worse if and when we finally change gears. Worse how? We've already been a lottery team for years now. We've already been looking to win our first playoff series in about a quarter century. We already can't get past the play in and in failing to do so we have completely embarrassed ourselves twice looking like we don't even belong. Honestly there is absolutely no excuse for a team like the Magic to be more competitive and successful than us in the playoffs. Absolutely disgusting. But that's just me. I was fuging lit when we got the Hornets back in Charlotte but that is old old news. It's time for these boys to get into a playoff series. Enough is enough. If they can't do it for 2026-27 then they need to make wholesale changes regardless.
    • Not one single pick that is asking me why we drafted a guy in the first place. It was a guy we needed and/or a guy that had certain traits making them stand out. Best of all, I feel everyone we drafted are capable of stepping onto the field this year and have a meaningful role (even Kuwatch on special teams). Obviously, nothing is guaranteed but I'm not seeing any huge flags on guys because they're risky projects or massive overreaches.
