The odds have been set and it's what I figured 5-7 wins.

NO at 7.5

TB at 8.5

Atl at 6.5 with us

damn

ya'll mofos better hope Bevell is the 2nd coming of Bill Walsh because 2026 might get ugly.  I think he is good insurance if DC keeps shitting the bed but if we have to switch 6,7,8 games in to DB calling plays then something has gone catastrophically wrong

The bright side is that if our offense shits the bed it is looking to be a nice QB class next year.  Kind of a good year to have a tough schedule as weird as that sounds.

Sound about right for the odds.  I wouldn’t touch it either way.

I did poor this past yr, even with a above average FA and draft class, I don't see the wins getting 6 and I don't blame any coaches. I swear Icky dropped the win total 2 from his late injury. I feel 4 is the max, but given the NFC south offers 6 games and I see 2-3 "close" games........Theyd have to have more luck than this year to be above 6 wins. Or land a HOF or two form the draft......

People are overlooking two things.

They set the number to get the most action. Not to be accurate in their prediction. Though I am sure they have one. But the customer is the one doing the predicting.

Also, we were pretty bad in a couple of those wins.  I hope that I was right saying it shows they are learning how to win, at the time, but poo was pretty ugly offensively.

What Luke said about the  5 or 6 games showing that Bryce ‘gets it’, I am not sure I agree that they showed that. A couple of games were good, yes, but there was enough ugly to go around.

If you count the playoff game we were 2-3 after the bye and I guess we won going into it. Go back last 6 games of the season we were 2-4.

The last 4 games we averaged 16 points.  One win.

You guys might slow your roll on that 3 game improvement and unless that QB can eliminate his numerous poor games, we won’t win more games than last year and could actually easily lose more.

Win totals before the draft and free agency are highly speculative. Another off- season like the last and I don't know why we'd be a game worse than last year.

Yeah but we are starting in the hole this time, with the offseason needs. I am trying to think of what major position we lost at the last minute in 2024 that dictated what they had to do.

Little bit at a loss at RB with Brooks. We did lose Jewel but that was after we couldn’t address it. At least we know LOT ahead of time.

But we were in the opposite position, getting a recent 1st rounder and major piece back with DB. This is flipped from last year.

I mean are you really expecting to win a SB ?

Last year

Seahawks +6000

Patriots +8000

3 of the top 5 SB odds didnt even make the playoffs. But go ahead and still not understand odds if you are determined to.

    • Facts it's still crazy that they made him sell over that especially considering what some of the other owners have done.  JR was a rich 80 year old white man from the south I'm not at all surprised about him making some "inappropriate" comments about what a woman is wearing water is wet what a surprise. That's just the way things were done during his time, and he should and did get punished for his actions by paying some hefty fines, but it definitely wasn't something that he should've been forced to sell his team over.  I'll never forget him insulting Peyton Manning during a negotiation, reportedly belittling the quarterback’s knowledge of player safety and asking, “Do I need to help you read a revenue chart, son?
    • Like many of the old heads, I’ve been here for a long time.  I got a lot of respect for everyone on this board for your dedication to this team.  We’ve all been through it during the tougher years. At this point in life, I’m not one to judge anyone’s level of dedication, or their reasons why anymore.  Time, and a lot of bad football, will do that.  For me, it’s simple.  We share a common bond.  For that, I love and appreciate all of you crazy SOB’s. For me, last season was at a minimum, entertaining.  BY lead a young team to multiple come from behind 4th qtr wins.  That showed me heart, and that he has the clutch gene.  That’s the wildcard intangible.  For me, that was fun to watch even  if it was mindbogglingly frustrating at times.  Over the past two seasons, we have progressively built a better team around him.  On paper, the defense should be better this season.  That’ll help.  Let’s see what he can do as the other guys continue to develop too.  Besides, his contract is cheap for a few more years, and we just made some smart cap decisions during the draft. Let’s see how it shakes out.
