The best ability is first, availability and Phillips has missed over a quarter of his possible NFL games due to injury. Burns has missed 3 total games in his career.

How does guarantees work if someone retires? This guy retired as a sophomore in college. If he gets injured again, I could see him hang it up.

Also, I like him as a person and player.

That's what I was thinking...think he immediately makes Brown( and Scourton) even more effective. Makes teams pay for double teaming

i really wanted Oweh. Wanted more of a pure pass rusher but this is an Evero scheme fit. This scheme isn’t great for pure pass rushers. So if we move on from Evero after this season…

I don't get it, he had 5 sacks last year

He did record 73 QB pressures but I thought our primary need is someone who can finish sacks consistently. 

I guess this is what $30MM a year gets you these days.

if he is forced to retire due to an injury it's paid out, if he can still play and chooses to leave I think it depends
