IDK....I know the sack numbers aren't there but the QB pressures are - top 10 in this. 

It's hard to look past injuries, but the contract looks like $20M/yr guaranteed and I'm sure there's injury clauses/escalaters in there that somewhat protect the Panthers. If he stays healthy, he gets closer to $30M per, which is inline with the top edge rushers in the league. 

I still think DB needs another partner next to him and a green dot ILB. I'd take Nakobe Dean from Philly on a budget-friendly 2-yr deal.

That's a lot of money for a player with a big injury history and 11 sacks in the last 4 seasons. Could have gotten 2 DEs for half the same price and double the production. Trust the process I guess.

The upside is there, the risk is huge for all that guaranteed money though. I'm not a huge fan of this signing. They paid for a guy who has proven it on the field, not a guy they're hopeful can get to those numbers.

This makes Pat Jones $10 mil cap & presence kind of off with Scourton & Princely being developed.  Would like to see him moved.

Both Jones Jr. and A'Shawn should be on the move

Nah, we should have TRADED Burns to the Rams. They offered a crazy package. If that trade offer never came through then re-signing him was the obvious choice. Botched on both levels.
