Oof, I can't get on board with Sadiq.  I like Rodriguez.  Sadiq is an athlete playing TE. I want a complete TE that happens to be a pretty good athlete.

This is a fantastic signing. He is absolutely an impact player. Meaning he impacts every snap.  He has to be accounted for by the offense. 

This is a great addition for the defensive line,  and pass rush. 

The contract is what is average for a starting caliber pass rusher in the NFL.  So the contract doesn't bother me at all. 

Injuries? This is the NFL.  Hold your breath for every player in the league if you want to.

I really don't see how you can extend Young if he puts up another season on par or slightly improved with this past one, or especially before the season. Brissett put up better numbers in 5 fewer games as a backup for 6 mil per season. I know they were behind and passing a lot, but still. 185 yards a game is not extension worthy. I can't imagine paying 40m per season for what we've gotten so far at the QB position.

The Eagles have a poo ton of players to pay. Apparently they were interested in the $100m range and we've obviously just gone over the top.

They desperately wanted him back.

Phillips gets pressures the sack numbers will come especially playing with Brown and Scourton who is ascending 

Our biggest need was pass rush. We had zero of it last year. Like you said, the money is the money. Signing good players is never a bad thing.

CJ Allen (R1) & Deontae Lawson (R2) would be our best bets for a guy requiring the least amount of pro-level assimilation.

Injuries happen but the concussions are worrisome, any TBI is since you can't actually see the injury or repair it like an ACL. After the 1st they come easier. I've had 4 myself. I do know that my bell gets rung much easier now than it did. All we can do is hope he can stay healthy.

Scourton was overtaxed as a #1 rusher, too. Now Phillips gets the chip help, and Scourton can rush one-on-one. Should help the whole edge room.
