I think it's more about the fact that they have a star QB, and if they can fix the defense, they can be contenders again. That division is kind of up in the air at the moment.

#Panthers are trying to get back in the race for Lloyd but paying Phillips 30M a year is a lot to come back and sign a LB that wants 16-20M a year
