2026 offensive tackle rankings

OTs are getting bigger and this team especially likes bigger ones.

would not be surprised if they really like Proctor more than the average fan does. He’s got atypical movement skills for a guy his size-a valuable attribute they are pretty familiar with after watching the Rams twice up close this past season.

He’s not that different from Ickey. That Bama staff is ass water. He’s got bad weight to trim and gets beat off the ball on occasion ….like so fast that footwork doesn’t even factor in. Ickey syndrome, like they are taking a nap or something.

I don’t see what you’re seeing with “bad weight.” He’s got the box frame you want in a OT, carries it well. Sheds a bit more weight and he should get a bit quicker on the outside. You’re seeing more tackles in his build tier.

It’s in his gut and thighs, same as my aunt Sally. Take a peek a Freeling, 315 and that blob ain’t there. I’d much rather have a guy that needs refinement but ain’t going to get thrown out the club than some lightweight tho.

so it’s just not a serious take then

Im dead serious, but right now, for realistic options I’d take Freeling then Proctor if available at 19 as the guys I want. But he absolutely needs to play at least 20 pounds less than he did at Bama. Scourton lost that much, it’s not an indictment and teams will want that.
