Everyone Says BPA. Panthers Won’t.

They will go “BPA” for 4-5 positions that they see as a a group they want to add into. Probably LB, DL, T, TE or WR. I don’t think they will take the best player off the board if it’s a RB or G. If that makes sense.

Absolutely. A one year rental at LT, a huge question mark in Icky, and Moton is about done. We need tackles.

Made a few posts about it. Short version is we need to turn our OL over and get some rookie contracts in play.
 

We can get the tackle money down now, and get ready to do it with the guards in a couple of years. When the tackles get expensive.

He strikes me as the type where he’s a first for some teams that like him. Has a big range of potential grades given his upside.

When it is our pick, it is highly possible that BPA could be any number of players.  Considering all BPA players available i think LT is probably the biggest need. We are extremely thin at that position and injuries on the O-Line can kill a season especially LT.

I don’t want to give OP too much crap. My counter point would be that most of those positions we absolutely take if we felt the BPA was there.

We’d 100% draft Mendoza. QB isn’t in play because no one thinks Simpson will be BPA.

RB Isn’t in play because Love will be gone and everyone else is a R2 prospect 

No C is in play for R1. OT and G are interesting. Not sure Ioane will be there. Some have him as a top 10 prospect, others not as much. At OT I think Mauigoa would be the pick but will be gone. Not sure how Freeling or Fano are viewed. 
 

again tho Edge isn’t in contention because the ones worth drafting will be gone. At CB I think we’d consider Delane as BPA if he slipped.
