Daniel Jeremiah mocks KC Concepcion to the #Panthers πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘

Although he may certainly be talented. Unfortunately I think there will be a high probability of folks getting themselves fired down the line by not only drafting another WR in the first round but once again targeting the only one who has ties to the area for marketing purposes instead of seeking the best prospect. Can't do this after the Xavier Legette mess. Just can't run an NFL franchise with blinders on like this.

According to what I've seen and read, he's strong. He's a dawg. You appear to be going only by size. I mean, there are some notable receivers near his same size. He's certainly not the biggest, but isn't the smallest either. Some of y'all seem to have the attitude that slot receivers aren't worth a first. I do not believe that. Moreover, Concepcion can probably play on the outside or "end up on the outside." Wherever he plays, his "superpower" is his dynamicism with the ball in his hands.

He’s not strong, he’s a quick twitchy WR who makes defenders miss. He’s not breaking tackles like a DJ Moore.

I mean, I don't know what you're seeing or reading, but I've heard (not read) several analysts say that Concepcion plays stronger than his size. Like I said, you've got it twisted apparently. Keep in mind that these are only a few. The dude is as tough as nails from what I've been looking at.

"Concepcion is a very dynamic runner after the catch who shows impressive vision, can make defenders miss in a phone booth and shows good competitiveness to finish his rushes. His role as a rusher hasn’t been as prominent recently, but received a lot of carries as a freshman. Gives pretty good effort when stalking opponents in the run game, with a physical temperament and better functional strength than expected."

"Play strength is better than you’d expect given his size, a little bit stockier and stronger than this type of receiver typically is"

Strong Hands and Competitive Toughness

"Despite not being the biggest receiver, Concepcion attacks the football, finishes through contact, and plays with noticeable intensity. He’s reliable on contested catches and tough over the middle."

He seems to be a carbon copy of what the Panthers draft- TMJ, mingo, and XL....

That's not true. Neither TMJ, Mingo or XL were twitchy, explosive or quick. They are more lumberers that take a little bit to get going. Concepcion is explosive. He can shed defenders with the quickness.Β

So you too? Are you guys just not doing your research? If we draftΒ in the first, it will have nothing to do with marketing the "local kid," and everything to do with his explosiveness and upside.

brother I see 3 names near the top and KC is right there. I guess they maybe not the same, but this against zone...which is a _______ NFL D. You can draw your known thoughts.Β

Thats true. KC gets to his top speed off the jump, that’s his strength in the middle of the field and punt return. I ain’t in love with him or nothing, but he can scoot for a little bit.

He's right about the explosiveness though. KC is more dynamic than XL and Mingo.

That being said, this was an interesting find. Teams should maybe be looking at this as an indicator of success in the NFL. Id be curious to see the guys at the top of that list.

He maybe more of a slot or dynamic or whatever trigger draft word. His results against zone are the same as TMJ, mingo, and XL......

Β

Plus Im sure you and my man @TD altΒ see the other bust among this this. Polk was traded for floor peanuts. Coleman, LOL do I need to post one of his fiddy stories?? Mims, bust, harry bigger bust.....I mean Jesus its petty bad how clear this is.Β

Β

Plus Panthers want Brian Thomas Jr and have called jags a few times....THUS this is their top profile for a WR....... No wonder the KC love.

Β

FYI you want a WR above 2.3.....thats the magic number and lemon is a 3.22 which is tops. There's other studs in the 3 range.....You know zone is like 70% of many teams base.... This guys can not figure it out and that's clear here.....
