This whole thing is sooooooooo dumb, why any of this is an ongoing news story is ridiculous.

There are only 2 people who should actually care about this, his wife and her husband.

Affairs happen, not that I'm saying it's okay to cheat, but at worst, the only "bad thing" that could be coming around from this affair is that information was passed between them, the same type of info that any coach and journalist who are friends may share with each other to help the other out.

The Patriots shouldn't care as long as it doesn't affect his focus on the team.  And those saying that he's lost the locker room and their respect over the "lying" have to be fooling themselves.  Half the players in that locker room are more than likely actively or previously have cheated on their significant other.  So it's not like they're looking at him saying, "what a liar and terrible person, I can't trust him as my coach anymore"

The problem is where things might have become a competitive advantage, or when information was concealed or released to affect a particular outcome, by the seemingly intimate relationship between a "NFL Insider" reporter and the head coach for a NFL team.

I don't know if there is ultimately much concern over 2 adults doing what many adults will do, regardless of their marriages. The more interesting part is what it could have resulted in for the games.

Gotta be honest... The way these details have been released in small, increasingly more obscene amounts is impressive by whoever is doing it. The person definitely has a personal vendetta against Vrabel/Russini.

Yea others hit on and I myself tried to avoid it, until one after another disgusting titbits came after about 5 days to keep it fresh in the news cycle.

The old classic the government uses is to release something on late Friday. People have weekend plans, lake, skiing, travel, cookout etc.. So come Monday its allllll forgetten and a new juicy fresh news piece has hit the cycle and thus the release on Friday is buried. Then when you mention "Hey member when the VP son raped a 13 girl?" Everyone- "huh?!?! what are talking about, that never happened". Now its a time lop and no one cares cause it was weeks ago, " Well did you see what the former VPs son did?!?!" ugh....

This story is out for football fans in the off-season and it does have many layers of disgust.....

    • Man, I havent posted in a while, happy to see the forum is alive and well!  Really excited about this upcoming season, and this draft class!  Lee Hunter will be an instant fan favorite, i might go ahead and purchase his jersey.  Will be interesting to see what we do at Receiver, a lot of talent and a lot of bodies, does XL get traded, or do they give him a shot this season to see what he has?
    • Goings was good too.
    • I appreciate TMo, he has been a rock. Plug and play, set and forget. But there are stories that they ice his knees or knee in game when he goes to the sidelines. If it is that bad that is pretty rough and it probably won’t get better with age and more wear.     You want to pay him, and commit that money, I shouldn’t object. But let’s at least roll him over a year at a time.  He isn’t a particularly good long term gamble.
