BREAKING: Panthers insider says KC Conception is the favorite @19

Recommended Posts

Morgan and Company arent telling anyone anything. They are behind closed doors. If they are saying someone it's to throw people off like Jalon walker last year.

KC Conception is the last person I would want in that range. We already have a WR with drop issues

Right, the floor for any WR/TE we even think of taking that high should be "great hands and great route running" otherwise just roll with what we have

No they are not. He's a day 2 wr and they will not take him at 19.

I will say it again, there is no fuging way in hell KC is ranked 19 or better on their big board.  If he truly is then we may have bigger issues than previously noted.

If he (or cooper) is the pick I hope they simply call it for what it is.  To try and supercharge Bryce and our offense to get it to at least nfl respectable.   And again if I am EE I am raising fuging hell

If they take a receiver it will be Lemon. If he's not there it will be Miller or their best OT prospect. If neither of those 2 are there it's panic time for a trade down. If no trade it's the best defensive player on their board.

Hard to tell the impact on the Giants Bengals trade

panthers have no true receiving threat over the middLe…they need to get one…one that doesn’t  have an injury history, drop history, has body control, can block and must have speed

that combination  doesn't grow on trees or found round 2 forward

the offense as a whole lacks speed, whether that is talent, play calling, young’s vision…who knows

to fix that to me that is Cooper or Sadiq   With the recent trade, not sure if they will be there

if not, they will probably go best defensive  player on their border

I believe  wr/te first    Safety in second if Halsey is there    Lb in 3rd  the rest oline and cline

Anything else they will get in August after cuts

anyway, the draft is ‘nfl Christmas in April’.  Let’s enjoy the packages and hope it isn’t all socks and underwear…or coal

Would love it if McCoy or Thieneman drop to 19. I think Mesidor could be a surprise pick for us also at 19 if his medicals check out.

But yeah, I think OT is probably the most likely pick at 19.

I feel this way about Sadiq. 21 YPG career. Doesn’t play tight end. KC at least fits a Pro football position and Punt return.

I feel Shaq needs a guru ei Reid, mcvay, shanny, or koc for him to be unlocked. If panthers draft him(I doubt) bevell has huge pull. that's about the only way I see shaq on Panthers.

    • No saying he mostly sucks is saying that he doesn’t suck the minority of the time.   Like if he took 17 tests and had a couple of really good showings and a handful of pretty good scores sprinkled in among the typical sub par results.   Like a golfer who went out and shot an 89.  There will be some real nice shots sprinkled in there but at the end of the day it is still 89.
    • It's worth mentioning... Game 1: Oct 11 in Raleigh. 4-3 OT win with a complete starting lineup. Game 2: Dec 13 in Philly. 4-3 SO win without Jaccob Slavin. Game 3: Dec 14 in Raleigh. 3-2 SO win with a complete starting lineup. Game 4: Apr 13 in Philly. 3-2 SO loss with the AHL roster.  Those early season games were no indication of the Canes team that finished the season. Miller and Ehlers were still trying to figure things out, Nikishin was still a work in progress and the Stankoven line was just another line. Make no mistake, the Canes team Philly will see is nothing close to what they saw at any point in the season. If the top line starts producing, Freddie stays hot and the blue line does what it does, this could be a sweep as well.
