Senators gave it their all. I would not be surprised if they are drained for game 3 and 4. We have felt this as well with long overtime games against the Panthers and Rangers.

Games 3 and 4 the team looked gassed.

I think this early attrition is a good thing, usually they just breeze through the 1st round, but this has been 2 battles

If the game had of gone the way season games did it would have been a very high scoring game. Like you said 7-6 goals for each team. Both goalies got very lucky.

I like the physical play but after coming out strong in 2 games and then fading, it makes me wonder.  Should we be playing our game more than finishing every check with a monster hit.

Agreed, but he buckled in after that softie and the goals they could have scored Freddie got enough of to make it hit the post.
