I have no problem going for monster checks. My problem is when I see 3 guys running to give a monster check on the boards and leaving the middle wide open.

I agree, I will say that we do need that gear to slow the momentum at times. 2-3 they were playing at our speed, we needed to grind with big hits, etc. to slow it down. Also fuging better puck possession would help.

Also, I know we have all poo in Miller the entire year.

But him and the D have locked down for most of these first 2 games. I think he has played well on D so far

I don't know, man. 

I kinda liked seeing Martinook commit homicide early in the game. And I liked watching Carrier do it towards the end of the game just as much.

Hurricanes deserved that game 3 times over. Glad Martinook got the winner after that weird BS penalty shot after they robbed the game winner off the board. Wha a crock of sh*t that was, can’t tell you how many OT game winners in the last 40 years might have had an offside like 2 minutes beforehand
