Don't see how anyone could have a problem with this, whatsoever.

It's Bryce's final chance to earn a long-term deal, and gives the Panthers FO a chance to see how he handles it and whether he can finally have sustained success over a full season.

With some weapons finally.

I enjoyed reading this thread and the usual banter that follows.

The only silver lining I can identify right now is we do actually have a couple of young QB's behind him and we do have a nice roster on both sides of the ball built around the most important position. So if the team overall shows some promise but we still falter largely due to a lack of consistent passing output (again) hopefully the decision makers can be free to make the best decision for the team going forward after the conclusion of this upcoming season.

The last time we actually had some competition in the QB room was under fuging Rhule and Fitterer, hopefully the staff is giving some subtle push without upsetting Tepper. Sucks we get another training camp with no public access so who knows how things actually look unless we get some joint practices where we can follow the other teams media for a couple days.

Yeah I am kind of looking forward to preseason now because the new QBs and most of the guys we drafted will be 2nd string and will play a lot.
Usually I tolerate watching the depth guys because of the QBs and really, the lack of decent depth. I think we will have some things to watch this year.

Aside from the jokes earlier, Pickett and King want Bryce's job and WR should be pretty solid in the preseason depth wise to give them opportunities. Should be a lot more interesting than watching old ass Dalton and not even good in college Plummer.

Can you imagine Kenny Pickett killing it in the preseason just to watch Bryce lay an egg opening day

It's baffling. Bryce is the most replaceable QB out there. Pretty much any other team with a bottom third qb with a mid/low ceiling is going to keep throwing darts.

One more year of him and we can finally move on and have real hope again.

losing franchises who have struggling front offices over invest in fixing Qbs they have alot of draft capital invested into such as Bryce Young.they simply do not know how to cut their losses in a timely manner

winning franchises with successful front offices knows that it is critical to avoid the aforementioned trap of trying to fix a failed investment & force the development onto a player once again such as Bryce Young who cannot perform ...just saying
