Did David Newton get fired from ESPN?

I noticed his last text message was on 4/16 and he did not cover the Panthers during draft weekend. No Panther articles have been put out by ESPN since April 16th

ESPN probably didnt even notice, they dont care about the Panthers. Dude still probably cashing checks.

He's already been getting paid for several tiers below mediocre journalism. He's probably just taking time off and they genuinely don't even care because it's the Panthers.
