How would this do that? It frees up 2026 cap by spreading that over the next 3 or 4 years. All these restructures and void years do is create bigger cap hits for later years. On top of our free agency strategy lately we have insane cap hit numbers starting in 2027.

The Hurney special, converting non-guaranteed salary to guaranteed bonus so you can spread it out across the contract. If he stays healthy it'll be a good move. But that's a big IF given his history.

Pretty much regular around the league at this point unfortunately but good or bad that CAP maneuverability is here to stay

They shouldn’t have given him that contract to begin with. They’re really gambling by paying all this big money to injury prone players. Love JC as a player when he’s healthy tho
