He just isn’t talented enough of a passer IMO. Maybe he can pull off a depth position and come in on certain packages but I don’t see him as a NFL passer.

He wasnt asked to do much in the Ga Tech offense. Based on his highlights he's capable of 50 yard dimes which is sure as hell refreshing given what we're used to.

I noticed Canales commented on King having a live arm. Weinke coached him and said he could make any throw an NFL team would ask him to make.  His mechanics and general process of throwing looks a little wonky to me though. Haven’t really zoomed in on that though to say more.

Brazzell, his hands look at least decent to me and of course his speed is there.
Love his balance.  Like a cat, always comes down on his feet. Not his butt.

1/2 the leagues QB’s look wonky throwing. Ours too.

The level of QB the colleges are turning out is pretty rough on the whole. Seems to me it is about as low a bar as there has ever been, or maybe I should say the QB level league wide has really dropped.

Seems like it would stand out in our practices too.

I mean I only watched one college game to get my impressions. But it was supposed t be one of he best.  Vs Georgia.

Ask yourself why a 6th year Senior wasn't asked to pass too much...

King can be our Taysom Hill, and that's a win if so. Run threat, short yardage guy, and throw in the occasional trick play.

Brazzel.....please work out. He's going to look great in videos like this and get us all hot and bothered. But when the pads come on, let's hope he keeps it up.

I am not even sure what "work out"means.  He has one job and supposedly already does it well.  Run really fast really straight and pull safeties to you.  I dont think anyone is expecting 50 catches this year.  At least I am not.  We got him for his inline speed and hopefully he can develop his routes, not counting on it but at least he is a blazer or thats how he has been sold to us.

I do hope there is a package with both him and XL on the field and both have go routes for shits and giggles

Work out meaning just be a decent player. Tenn WRs under Heupel haven't exactly translated, can we even throw him a deep ball, etc. At the basic level, yeah, let's throw him out there and pull a safety. But until we actually connect on one, teams will probably be happy to let him run his heart out and dare Bryce to make the throw.

Yeah, he's revitalized that Tennessee football program but his offense so far while producing on Saturdays isn't translating into skill position players that are producing on Sundays. That's not a knock on him. His job is to win college games. But it is something to keep in mind on draft day and it probably had a lot to do with why a guy with Brazell's measurables and production was available in the 3rd round. 1000+ yards and 9 TDs with his measurables usually means 1st round. But there's a lot of concerns with Tennesee WRs having very limited route trees and QBs having very simplified reads. Works in college but hasn't been translating to the NFL.

I haven’t really looked at it but people say, in so many words, he showed skills at Tulane he wasn’t asked to use in Tennessee.

btw we will probably see a thread or should have one but Freeling is signed.

20.1 mil 4 years of course

11 mil guaranteed.  I mean his whole contract is less than a year of Icky and also two other OL we have under contract

I am pleased with this, if he can perform
