A side note I liked watching this Flyers team. A few years ago I remember people saying the Devils were the up and coming team in the east when the Canes swept them. I didn’t see it. I didn’t see hard play, high effort, doing the dirty work. This Flyers team had all that. The Canes are just way more experienced and talented. And the Flyers hung with them taking it to OT twice for a series the Flyers had no business being in. I can see them becoming a perennial contender as their young core grows. Wouldn’t be surprised to see a rematch next year.

Porter Martone is going to be a great player.  Hard to believe how little NHL experience he had going into the playoffs.

The Flyers got more from their young guys than the vets. Couturier, Konecny, Hathaway, those guys were as absent as Aho has been.

Coutierer had a good series but Konecny is worthless
