This is history. Opening the playoffs with back to back sweeps. It has never been done before. Colorado has a chance to do it as well, but we are in the history books!!!!

It hasn't been done since going to best of 7 series, it was done in 1985 by both the Oilers and Flyers but the first round was best of five. 

The 85 Oilers are also the last team to start the playoffs with an 8 game winning streak.
