I view it the other way.

NFL is giving the Panthers the opportunity to exact some much needed revenge. I want to see our defense tee off on Caleb Williams.

what do you think the spread is?  Panthers -2.5 

 

I would much rather started with a home game vs div rival.

Home opener against the Saints would have been nice. But we opened the season against them in New Orleans two years ago and got taken to the woodshed. I'm alright with this. It will tell us exactly who our head coach is and what the culture of this team is if there is any. If we faceplant stick a fork in em'.

Since Bryce got here we have taken to the woodshed week one no matter who we played.  
 

I am not predicting anything though.
 All I can do is picture Williams and his nail polish slinging it over everybody’s head, on a dime, off his back foot. 
 

And us countering with Bryce bailing the pocket and heading for the right sideline to either throw it OB or launch it maybe 15 or 20 yards downfield with varying degrees of success.
