Jeeze glad I didn't invest in Buffalo Real Estate.  Per article McD paid $1.1M in 2017 for his house in Orchard Park NY.  Current estimated value is $1.5M.   It would have been at least 2x that anywhere that's decent in Charlotte.

Houses that should be going for $120K here in WNY are going for $200K+. Houses that should be $200-$250K are now $500k+.

I'd hire him in a heartbeat. Hell if he wanted the job, I'd have Canales packing his poo right now and I don't dislike Canales.

It's just that firing a 106-58 coach is crazy work. That's a 65% winning percentage. That's the equivalent of averaging 11 wins a season. That's incomprehensible for a fanbase That's never experienced back to back winning seaons.

I hope there's a silent deal already in place. Let DC and BY ride or die together while SMcD takes a year off. If it fails, DC goes, BY goes and we start over with SMcD.

When I saw that I was thinking the same thing.  If Evero does have a great season and gets hired as a head coach I wouldn't mind see McD as our DC.  If we do poorly as a team, I definitely would want him to be the front runner for HC.

Sure. Except I would be very surprised to see him have to settle for a DC position. 
Especially under a guy with the experience level of Canales.

He will be 1 of the sought-after names next year, and there will be a contender that for whatever reason feels a change is necessary. He will have his choice of destinations if he still wants to be in the job market.
