David Aldridge: Gerald Wallce is the next to go

None of those guys are going to come here to not win championships, unless it's all for the money, which is possible. Lebron ain't leaving Cleveland unless it's somewhere like the Knicks. I think he'll realize Cleveland is a good team and stay there, I hope he does, I know if i was a Cavs fan I'd be crushed to see him go.

Lebron will either goto the Nets because of his relationship with Jay-Z.

http://www.rootzoo.com/articles/view/NBA-Basketball/New-Jersey-Nets/Signs-show-LeBron-to-the-Nets-after-the-2010-season_2878

"For the Cavaliers officials watching, there had to be something of a collective gulp. They have been uneasy witnesses to a dance between James and Jay-Z, a bond between a generation’s most celebrated entertainer and athlete. These two spend a lot of time together – traveling, talking and sharing big ideas.

What’s unnerving to Cleveland is that Jay-Z happens to be a part owner of the New Jersey Nets with unlimited access to James’ heart, mind and ambitions. Of course, the Nets are plotting a move to a sparkling new arena in Brooklyn, perhaps as soon as the 2011-2012 season. They’re clearing cap space and planning a pursuit of James when he can opt out of his contract in the summer of 2010.

Cleveland officials won’t talk about James and Jay-Z, but if you were wondering about the franchise’s fear of losing him to the brighter lights and bigger city, understand that the trade owner Dan Gilbert and general manager Danny Ferry made had everything to do with winning now and crushing James’ concerns that Cleveland is unable to surround him with a championship cast."

Or he will take $40-50 million a year in Greece...

This is the 2nd game where GW was not in at the end of the game. More and more it looks like LB is about too be real stupid and get rid of a player who should be everything he wants. Def a good rebounder and can score. Plus the man is pretty versatlie able too play 3 positions on the floor and he has him on the bench. He lives and mostly dies with having Raymond and DJ on the floor at the end of games. Which ends up either being a major Def mismatch causing the Cats too even double the post when the guard Felton is guarding post him up. Either score a easy layup on Felton or kick out too a shooter who ends up putting the dagger in our hearts with a jumper. The 2 pg lineup is killing us at the end of games. Not too mention he seem too not understand that teams make runs against us when you play Carrol and Morrison on the floor at the same time. But he keeps putting them out their together making 2 mismatched on the floor instead of one that you can hide. LB is doing a lot of stupid things trying too make a team to his image instead of being flexibility and trying too make a system too win with what you have. This will be the stupidest move if he lose GW too get a player he thinks can fit a system that may or may not work.

The only way LeBron ends up on the nets is if they actually move to Brooklyn. If not, he's going to the Knicks. Period. End of discussion for about a year and a half ok?

after LeBron wins the championship this year he will stay in Cleveland, you guys watch too much ESPN

i want to see them against boston first

Boston is a bunch of thuggish pukes who think they are invincible The Cavs will give them a back hand of reality in the playoffs this year if Allen dosent bust a hip before then or Peirce dosent get stabbed (again) and as long as KG dosent throw his back out mimicking the Dukie Floor slap ( what a joker get over yourself)

    • BPA in draft all the way. Address your biggest needs in free agency.
    • Exactly.  You let him play out next season and continue to develop Thorton.  Jackson’s earned his next contract, but his age and the risk of tying up such a large portion of the payroll at one position leads me to believe that we’ll let him walk. In all likelihood, we’ll draft another CB, or two, and bring in some journeymen to fill the roster void, between now and the start of the 2027 season.  That’ll create more balance financially across the roster enabling us to invest in other areas.
    • As far as the NFCS … I think this division will be hotly contested the next couple of years.   I am tending to pay more respect to both Atlanta and the Saints n terms of how strong they will be moving forward, than not.    I am mixed on Ryan but think they have a decent roster to start with. I don’t think he blundered hiring Stefanski. And that offense can be dangerous with a QB. Plus, defense is arrow up. No 1st round pick, WB issues will dull their effectiveness. Question is, to what degree?   I think Moore is going to be a good HC and can overcome tape that people have on Shough. They need a lot but they were playing with people. Just the way you want to see all the way to the end.    Not sure about Tampa they have Mayfield but I don’t think they can maintain their success and Bowles is not going to last much longer. They have to go through all that. Gonna be tough once it starts. Might already have started.    For us I feel pretty good about Morgan. But less so about our offense, we have some short term RB and OL issues and those things are critical given what we are working with at QB.  Overall, mixed. Like a lot of what I see but some major question marks remain.
