He'll need to waive the no trade clause.

Could happen, but I'd think he'd wait til the trade deadline to see if he can get on a contender.

Are the WSox a contender, maybe, with him.

Sports talkers here say the deal is done, pending the ok from Jake.

The more I see of the AL Central, the more willing I am to retract my defense of the division.

It really sux.

So it COULD be just the push they need to win that suckfest.

Does it get them any further than a first round exit in the playoffs?

Probably not, but you have to be in it to win it. And as the Cardinals proved a few years back, you get hot at the right time and anything can happen in October. (This was my point when arguing against the assumption that one division or one league is SOOOO much better than any other cuz you never know)

      I'm happy with TMac, but Tyler Warren was last season's Tyler Linderbaum for me in that he was at a position that wasn't one of the five pillars but he was the best player at his position AND one of the top talents in the draft. I cannot fuging wait for the Panthers to start winning again so that those guys fall to us like they seem to for teams like Baltimore & Philadelphia.

      Still working on consuming all of these so I don't have summaries available, but I figured there might be another Huddler or three trying to kill time before tonight's final preseason game.   Panthers Blueprint: Training Camp The in-house produced Blueprint series has given behind-the-scenes look on the field and off. They talk about his football experience coming up, decommitting from Florida and how he decided on South Carolina, and more. Warning: If you're the type of person that is easily distracted by accents, despite XL being on the team, you might have issues with understanding the Memphis dialect.       Allen was borderline unplayable in College.  He's an absolute unicorn in terms of his career panning out the way it has.
