Carolina Panthers running back Mike Davis has already said he is angry during every play in the game. He is out there to not only gain yards, but to initiate contact and wear down defenses in the process.
This week he faces the Chicago Bears, his former team.
On March 13, 2019, Davis signed a two-year, $6 million contract with the Chicago Bears. Davis was used sparingly and subsequently released on November 9th. The Carolina Panthers then won him off of waivers. Ron Rivera didn’t recognize his talent, Davis rarely saw the field. But apparently Matt Rhule and company see his value and it shows.
Now Davis is performing at an elite status and has a chance to stick it to Chicago for not believing in him. The Carolina Panthers are 3-0 with Davis as the starter.
Look for Mike to put a little extra punch into his hard hitting run style this Sunday.
