Manziel Not Impressing

Recommended Posts

I'm sure RG3 will not be the last NFL player to blow an ACL. Even your beloved Keuchly is not immune to it. Everyone's fragile when that 330-pounder hit their knee. Karma.

'My beloved Kuechly' eh?

Care to explain why he isn't your 'beloved Kuechly' as well?

Why this disdain for Luke on your part?

I am not a Manziel fan but it is hard to judge this early. I remember when we got Cam and he was terrible in the preseason games and there was actually a question of maybe starting clausen. Then game 1 started and Cam never looked back.

I don't think the team ever considered starting Clausen during that time That was your idea/thought.

The Panthers were committed/Whole Hog to Newton.

More so than many fans even realized.

They believed in him. And were proven correct very quickly in that belief.

Apparently his play isnt the only thing "not impressing" about manziel:

http://deadspin.com/25-million-lawsuit-filed-against-johnny-manziel-is-bat-1580596256

"Seeing Manziel with his small penis caused me psychological emotional distress."

The fug?

Obviously lawsuit isn't a joke but I can't tell if this is something that was even actually filed or what.

I think you defeat the purpose of the ignore feature.

and no surprise his little buddy came up to defend him...almost like maybe you two are one and the same.

You seem to defend scot and other users a lot as well. So don't throw stones when you live in a glass house. Im sure he's not the only one who think Manziel is hyped for non football reason. Not that there's anything wrong with that. But let it be known that we know.

Please quote for me these defense posts of other posters instead of saying anything that comes to mind hoping something sticks. And I am one of the few that hasn't said anything positive or negative about Manziel.

Browns #1 QB Brian Axel Hoyer (son of Axel Hoyer), had this reaction when the Browns drafted Manziel: a three-word text message to general manager Ray Farmer: "Bring it on."

Hoyer was 2-time honorable mention All-Big Ten and #3 in Michigan State history in career passing yards before being signed by the Patriots and spending three years training under Tom Brady (2009-2011)

    • Hurney was a good GM from 2002-2008. I'm not surprised that Hurney is doing well in his second stint as a GM. The lack of a franchise QB and giving huge contracts to what we thought was our core was what killed Hurney 1.0. I believe Hurney 2.0 is better at analyzing who to keep and who to let go (Norwell, Anderson, Davis, Star, Funchess, etc.).
    • Posting stuff like this : I'd bang Anna Kendrick so hard she'd wind up with a permanent [email protected]#k shaped protrusion out her lower back. Definitely makes you a mouth breather. But with bro in your name and the way you have poo talked cam, I'd expect nothing less.
    • Nothing is more important to me, and nothing was more important to our founding fathers, than freedom of religion. As a soldier I served in the Middle East, where I experienced first hand not only the cost of war, but I came to understand the cause of the endless conflicts that persist today. The cause of these endless conflicts lies in the ambitions of various religious sects to control the levers of government, and to dominate those who adhere to other religious beliefs. We must stand with such freedom loving Muslims and followers of all other religious and atheists who are committed to pluralism and individual free choice. These brave souls are calling for a pluralistic society built on religious freedom and are fighting a desperate battle against extremists who are financially supported by theocracies like Saudi Arabia and Iran. We must stand with those in Bangladesh and other parts of the world who are building coalitions of Christians and Buddhists and Hindus, atheists, secularists, risking their lives to advocate for pluralism and secularism. Furthermore, we must recognize that here at home our own nation is not immune to religious bigotry. As we stand here at the foot of the lincoln memorial, we can remember how Abraham Lincoln was attacked with accusations that he was not a christian. When John F. Kennedy ran for president his political opponents tried to foment religious bigotry based on his catholicism. When Barack Obama ran for President in 2007 people accused him of being muslim as though that might somehow disqualify him from being president. When Mitt Romney ran for president, there were direct attacks against his Mormon religion. When I first ran for Congress in 2012 my Republican opponent said in a CNN interview that I should not be allowed to serve in Congress because my religion quote does not align with the Constitutional foundation of the U.S. government. Just last year, Missouri State auditor Tom Schweich committed suicide after political opponents launched a malicious anti-semitic whisper campaign against him saying he was jewish. The message that we see in each of these situation is simple. That you will be punished politically for being of the so called wrong religion. There is nothing more un-American than this. Rather than pour fuel on the fire of darkness, divisiveness, and hatred, let us bring the light found in the aloha spirit. Respect and love for everyone, irrespective of religion, race, gender, any of the external differences, to our lives, our families, our country, and the world. Let us be inspired by the likes of Muhammed Ali, Mahatma Gandhi, Martin Luther King, as we join hands working toward the day when every young American, whether they are Hindu, Buddhist, Sikh, Christian, Jew, Muslim, Humanist or Atheist, can live without fear. With the inalienable rights of life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness that our forefathers envisioned for all of us. Let us confront hatred with love. Confront bigotry with Aloha. Confront fear with truth. Let us truly live Aloha in our actions, in our words, and in our hearts. -- Tulsi Gabbard 2016 Read full text here: https://medium.com/@TulsiGabbard/transcript-tulsis-speech-at-the-reason-rally-in-washington-d-c-this-month-85b1f2d577ea
