1 year $5-7M for Williams, I'd buy a Hurney jersey

That is fantasy land but we could still be in the running to sign him.

Now drop Kalil, Slide over Moton to LT, and draft a rookie RT. Scheme on right side if needed to help with pressure or sign another Clark-like replacement off the couch.

Most of that I can get behind. But "Clark-like"? Lord have mercy, no!

This is exactly the move we need to make. We couldn’t leave center to the draft it was too important.

Left guard of safety next please. It’s too expensive to sign a pass rusher. Save those for the draft

Disagree. Rookie DL usually need time before they make an impact.  Hard pass on going through the year with what we have and a rookie

This move upgrades the Center position and frees up the 1st rounder - can now focus on LT or DE/pass rusher. Also allows Larsen to upgrade LG. A lot of wins in this move.

Very nice. Big need checked off.  I hope they'll give Larsen a chance to compete at LG now.

They like Larsen because he is not great at either position but serviceable to play guard or center if needed. So I figure he is definitely in the mix.

He was a top center before he got hurt and a broken leg is not as bad as it could have been.

Would be amazing if Williams doesn’t get any better offers and we retain him and release kalil

I am sure the contract is predicated on passing his physical and being 100%

    • I think we just disagree about what a game manager is and that is fine. The definition isn't exactly firmly agreed upon. People use it in various ways and we are using in different ways.
    • Yeah, the lottery system is just completely moronic, even if you remove the air of impropriety about it. No other league uses it because you want your bad teams to at least have a shot to get better. The NBA apparently does not. I cannot fathom how that is a net positive for the league. On the other hand.....we would still fug it up. In fact we have already fuged up previous top 5 picks. We need a lot of them in a row. The most maddening thing is that the Hornets seem dead set on what we as Panthers fans grew to hate about our last two coaches, the acceptance of mediocrity. Well the Hornets actively strive to stay mediocre. We don't tank and we sign just enough talent to fight for a spot in the playoffs but never enough talent to actually win in the playoffs. It's INSANE.
    • the people who think you can reform this while maintaining capitalism don’t understand the relationship between police and capital. when the crime bill architect tells a room full of super wealthy people that “nothing will fundamentally change” he is absolutely talking about every institution that preserves the wealth and power of the rich. first and foremost, the police. they enforce the social hierarchy that most benefits the rich. if their role changes then you’re going to see “fundamental change” for the rich too. which is why the pigs will have free reign, just as they did under obama.
