Torn ligament vs broken bone

2 different injuries

Though still makes me a little nervous

Bene Benwikere wasnt the same after breaking his leg.  Different position but still

Didn’t Bene admit he was straight out of shape more than anything?

Some of them say that DWill isn't worth top 10 OT money because he is coming off of a leg injury but are in this thread applauding this move :Eyes_Emoji_42x42:

(it's a good move, just funny how it's ok for Paradis but not DWill)

Not one of them, but I would LOVE to bring Daryl back...

Just sounded like initially he was wanting #1-tackle-on-the-market-money, which I didn't think was fair.  Paradis was the best C on the market and just took less than Morse by 2 Mil per.  It looks like Daryl has realized his value wasnt quite what he thought, considering his injury, but I still think he ends up elsewhere.

I’m pretty sure you’re right. He said as much in an interview right after a bad game and was cut shortly after.

Sweet. Keep building up that line. This organization owes it to Cam to invest heavily there.

Very nice. Big need checked off.  I hope they'll give Larsen a chance to compete at LG now.

Yeah.  This could be a 2 for 1.  If Larsen can step up at LG also.

Great signing.  H2O

Finally. Something.

No more Bradbury at 16 talk, I don't think.

Yes, I love it. Gives us a chance to go tackle or DE. I didn’t want a center at 16, just messes up the draft completely reaching that early for a position that goes late.

Kudos Hurney, I love it. Just dump Kalil by Thursday and I’m good with you. We’ll talk about Torrey come draft time and Poe/Short next year.

Apparently we are paying him 11.25M in year 1?

Bonus plus salary, but not cap.

That broken fibula would have a bigger effect on a guy who’s position requires speed.  Like a CB.

I would be more concerned about Cockrell.  But at least Cockrell has had a ton of time to rehab since he broke it so early.

David NewtonESPN Staff Writer

The Panthers filled the void left by the retirement of Pro Bowl center Ryan Kalil by reaching an agreement with Denver center Matt Paradis. ESPN's Adam Schefter says it is a three-year, $27 million deal. Coach Ron Rivera expressed at the NFL combine that finding leadership on the line was key. So was protecting Cam Newton. Several boxes checked.
