Jordan just refuses to tank. CLEARLY obsessed with money. We're signing Terry Rozier.

I am happier every day for Kemba to be getting out of this dumpster fire of an organization .

The guy that said it is a done deal also deleted his tweet so who knows. I hope not. Let's embrace the rebuild

Rozier is not getting in the way of a tank, lol. He’s not that good. Only thing that matters, if they did sign him, is the duration of the contract.

I think a bunch of us saw this coming. I even said that Jordan wouldn't tank. He's content with being an 7-9th seed each year. Doesn't matter what it takes to accomplish that goal. But no tank to attempt to be a good playoff team.

I hate Michael Jordan the owner right now.  If they give him a big contract I am done with this fuggin franchise.

Rozier to Hornets on 4 year deal...

So they give Rozier 48+m, but won't give Kemba 175....  Ummmm, wtf are MJ and Mitch doing???

Celtics want to bring back Al, so might see a sign an trade here.

Where??

Sign and trade with Charlotte and Boston swapping Kemba and Rozier. This way Boston can keep Al on the team. He wants to stay so they are working some magic to make it happen.

If it happens Rozier will have to make over 12m a season. I think probably closer to 15m is more realistic. So might see that number climb to 60-80m over four years for Rozier.

I think he back tracked because of how complicated sign and trades are now.

Michael Jordan has to be a smart dude. His bullshit actions and opinions on how to run a basketball team are flat out incomprehensible though.  I've been dying to truly care about the Hornets and become a bigger fan of more than just the league.

Welp. Looks like I'm waiting on the Sonics to come back or hate-cheering the Pelicans on.

Half the fanbase wanted to re-sign Kemba. The other half wanted to let him walk, and start a re-build.

Somehow, MJ managed to piss off both factions.

    • A team might have a lot more injuries than the opposing team. Keeps a fair balance.
    • Its purpose is to ensure a level playing field. Say you have everyone active but Team A has five players injured while Team B only has one. Team A now has a perceived advantage because they technically have a deeper roster. Forcing both teams to sit 8 players is meant to nullify that possibility.
    • It all comes down to Rivera.   Are the Panthers good enough to go on the road and win a game against a so-so team that sucked last year and has a rookie QB in his third ever game?  Yes. Will there be any sign that this coaching staff understands how to do that? That is the question. Backs against the wall, staring down 0-3 and the increasing likelihood that if this thing goes south in a hurry heads will roll... I’d like to think we’ll come out 1-2, but... I still think the Panthers will go into AZ underprepared.  They will underperform.  Maybe it will be close at some point, but I just see the little mistakes adding up to some truly unfortunate momentum changes in this game. On the road, every mistake is magnified. AZ has nothing to lose and will be relaxed and focused.  Panthers will start out looking like they could win this thing, then there will be lapses in focus and suddenly AZ has the ball in good field position. Plus...and I mean this for real...the best narrative for the NFL is the rise of Murray and the decline of the Panthers.  I find that games like this often favor which ever story is the best narrative for the corporate interest.  What helps the NFL more: Kyle Allen leads a mediocre Panthers over and even more mediocre Cardinals, OR Murray balls out and puts up a highlight reel as the lowly Panthers trip over their own stupid feet? The second one. Probably another grinding loss. Panthers 20 Cardinals 27
