Why are we doing this??

Because the Hornets are run like Barnum and Bailey circus.

Lol, Rozier is not enough to stave off the tank. Not upset with the sign whatsoever.

Get these contracts off the books, keep your first round picks, and try this contending thing in about 2 to 3 years.

As for Boston; they’re not in position to feel sorry for anyone. They’re going to have wasted the riches they received from Billy King and Brooklyn. Nets might end up back in the finals before them. Ainge should be on the hot seat

agree with all of this. curious to see what ainge does next. he has shielded himself from criticism to date by leaning on the future returns on these “assets” but he can’t really pull the same trick again. i predict he finally pulls the trigger on a jaylen brown trade and the return will not be what celtics fans were dreaming of when that nets trade first went down

Yea he approved because he got more then he was looking for. Nearly 20m a season from Charlotte.

It’s all about the cash for him...and most every player

Trading Kyrie for Kemba is a home run for ainge

This was a save face deal for the FO. Hey we didn't give up Kemba for nothing...We got a starter to replace him....blah blah blah.

But we all know this is a bad move. Embrace the tank. We have a deep PG draft. So what do we do?

We make a trade to get a guy that I actually don't mind but we overpay him and I feel instead of top 4 pick we are going to be around the 6-8 range now.

This was one of those moves I absolutely didn't want

I’m fine with bringing him in...but way too much cash

hopefully by 3rd yr we can dump him

He wanted Kyrie back, though.

He still has to account for all the first rd picks he received in that Brooklyn deal. They regressed last year, and the signing of Heyward is looking to be a bust as well.

The fact that he wanted Kyrie over Kemba after all his drama adds merit to your point about ainge

The Pelicans are now looked at as an up and coming contender. That’s why he signed. Redick wouldn’t come here.

lol rozier and graham ain’t blocking poo. if you end up on the clock with an elite point guard on the board you’re not hesitating to pick him.

we want to lose games for that lotto pick
a soph PG would have handled that
