Sooo I’m assuming you missed games where fuging McCown was flaming our defense and Cam had to bail them out in one of his many 4th Quarter comebacks? The Giants game? Packers game?? You’ve got to be trolling right now.

The Panthers defense in 2015 was very middle of the pack that year, literally dragging the husk of Jared Allen off the couch to compete

Of course not, I watch every game religiously that season, I even went to the superb owl cause I thought we could do it. Cam was on point. I’m not dissing cam or the offense. I’m saying collectively as a team the entire thing just worked. How many times did Norman bail us out that season? My point is as I have said before, this is a team sport. Trying to bring up hypothesis of the past simply won’t work.

If you say the only reason 15 was any good was because of cam, simply is incorrect. It’s as if I said, oh if we had Tom Brady or Colin Kaepernick instead we would have won.

Cam had a record season and a lot of short fields.

Plus he had the Shula’s instead of the Turner’s but don’t get me started on that.

Similar record after bye weeks, I think. Rivera and extra time just don't seem to mesh well.

I have to admit I don't really understand that.

Actually he is 4-4 after a bye in regular season and 4-0 the past 4 years.

Postseason he is 1-2 all time.

So recent history indicates he has figured it out in the regular season at least.

Recent history shows he's not winning at all.

Which could also be framed as he's learned how to win after bye weeks but not during regular weeks

We're definitely still dog sh-t in prime time either way.

I’m not throwing this season to the birds yet though. 14 weeks is a long time. Let’s see if we can’t find our mojo.

I have no interest anymore. Most of the teams are playing like hot garbaged. Product is not what it use to be.

    • the only reason kraft isn't on my shite list completely is i watched my dad go thru this period of making lewd comments about women as part of his dementia.   if it comes out kraft has been a skeeze his whole life it'll be different.  i held out hope that's what it was for mister too, but he had a long pattern of it.
    • Peter King talked about that recently. Said he's seen no indication that Cowher wants to leave the cushy life he has now. Throw in that David Tepper didn't join the Steelers until well into the Mike Tomlin coaching era, so whether or not he's actually acquainted with Bill Cowher is unknown.
    • A few things on McDaniels. Did he fail in Denver and get fired? Yes. He was also 33 years old at the time of his hiring. Bill Belichick got fired once too. I'm not saying McDaniels is the second coming of Belichick, but it's important to remember how young he was. In regards to what he pulled with Indianapolis, I definitely understand any skepticism. From what I've read and heard on numerous interviews, McDaniels would only want to join an organization that is stable from an ownership situation and not a clown show like Cleveland or the Giants. Jim Irsay isn't on the level of Haslam in Cleveland but he's got some nuttiness to him. In regards to the Patriots offense this season, they are beyond abysmal when it comes to their skill position players, think 2010 Panthers minus Smitty of course. They've also played in games with insane weather elements (wind in Philly & rain game vs. Dallas). Their offensive line has been hit with injuries. The Patriots are great on defense and special teams so they're not going to go crazy on offense to potentially put their defense in a bad spot. Also, Brady is old. I'm not saying I'd love the hire. But it's possible that he's learned from his mistakes and that will make him a better coach the second time around.  Nice avi by the way @NYPantherFan, I like your style.
